Looking for Home Repair DIY Peeps
My wife and I are wanting to get into doing more DIY projects at home. My wife is totally a student of YouTube university, and I know she is capable of so much. She’s changed our ceiling fan, the garbage disposal and even fixed our AC fan thing outside before. We recently cleaned out our clear out plumbing thing by renting a snake machine from Home Depot. We’re trying.
We’ve started to get more tools, and wondering if there’s folks who are more experienced and willing to teach my wife and I to feel more comfortable with things such as a miter saw(we got a used one for a good deal). We want to do a few projects such as extend our back patio. So extend the concrete slab. We have an old shed that we’re considering repairing. Would be nice to be a part of a community willing to share tools or skills.
Maybe you have a similar project you’re getting ready to do and we can shadow?
Or do you all recommend an in person class you maybe took locally to teach some of the things mentioned?
Not sure it matters but my wife and I are in our mid 30’s, 2 dogs.
