Do you use your job as your main banking institution?

I recently started a job in customer relations and bank X. For the past or 8 so years I have used bank Y for my everyday banking needs. I have my money/acounts spread out over a few different institutions, though. Yesterday I started an account at my job just for convenience of being able to get cash out and the few perks of having an employee account. I’m considering using that as my every day bank account because I don’t stick with my current bank for any other reason other than no reason to switch. I have noticed a trend amongst my coworkers, though that none of them use our job for the main bank accounts. They actually keep very minimal banking relationships. Are there any downsides to doing your main banking with the bank your work at? Or is my place just a weird situation?

Will this be an issue?

I recently filled out a background check for employment at a local bank in my area for an entry level job. I have good credit but I recently got dinged pretty hard because I forgot to pay the yearly fee on a credit card I forgot I even had. Even with that ding my credit is still in the “good” range, though. Also I recently paid off a $1,300 balance on a 10k limit card and a 1k balance on $6,500 card. I’m worried I might be flagged as too high risk for this position. I don’t have any past fraudulent activity or any judgements against me or anything. Will I be flagged as high risk or am I worrying for nothing?

Best website/online school for micro credentials?

Right now I’m seriously searching out a career change.
I’m hoping to do something more office based. I’m currently an assistant manager for a large coffee chain. I’ve tried college/trade school twice but life happened and I wasn’t able to finish. Most of my job experience is food/retail/call center. Unfortunately doing an online degree isn’t really an option for me at the moment. I really just want to get something under my belt for a little resume booster so I figured maybe micro credentials might be a good starting option to at least get my feet wet. What are some good and reputable websites or online colleges to earn some? I’m thinking maybe starting with basic entry level business or supply chain management classes then maybe add on from there. Thank you for your recommendations!
