First Chanterelle toast of the season!

It's been so hot and dry here I was beginning to worry there wouldn't be any chanterelles at all.. but found the first little patches of them in our woods a couple days ago! Had to cook them my very favorite simple way first. (These are a mix of Golden, Smooth, and a couple tiny Cinnabars.) Sauteed in a little butter, chopped fresh parsley, slathered on sourdough bread with some Maldon salt on top. Just awesome.
