Redditor freaks out for an entire thread after I condemn white worship, calls me a ricecel LMAO

Probably one of the craziest arguments that I have ever gotten into on Reddit. They completely failed to address any of my points, and even went so far as to suggest that the lynchings of POC in the past (so including both Asian men and Black men) do not matter because they somehow aren't as bad as the evils of Asian men (WTF).

They also kept calling me a "ricecel" over and over again, obviously to make up for the fact that they had no actual response to my points. Kept saying that I am a big meanie and a massive misogynist who hates all Asian women!!! They clearly also let Asian men live rent free in the head, honestly might be a white man larping as an Asian woman.

The fact that they called me a "ricecel" repeatedly was especially strange considering the fact that I currently have a girlfriend + the sheer number of dates / matches on dating apps that I have obtained in the past, so I am not sure how that label exactly applies to me lol.

The patronizing, white savior comments on the IG bear pelt post are something...

Obviously no diss to the graduate, congrats to her!

But first of all, not every Native American group has this practice. Only a specific number of Native American groups do. Kinda weird to generalize POC.

And while the question was kinda dumb, there's no point in being a dick about it. For instance, I am ethnically Chinese-Viet, and if someone asks me why certain Vietnamese dishes have boiled chicken even though it tastes worse on its own than chicken cooked with other methods, I would simply explain that the meat is meant to be dipped in sauces such as mắm gừng. I would not go on this arrogant, patronizing rant about how the other person is a wHiTe-CeNtRiC CoLoNiZeR. Hell, OP may not have even been white lol.

Also, I find it ironic that so many of these people fall back on the "it's their culture" argument (and do it in the most insanely patronizing tone that I have ever seen), and yet they fail to give the same energy to other traditions such as Christianity, Islam, or Confucianism (obligatory fuck the Red Guards). For some reason, those are fair game. And don't get me started on the pearl clutching against dog meat consumption in Asia...

Lastly, y'all are free to feel smug because you "know more" about certain Native American cultures. But none of it will ever change the fact that UCLA only exists because the Tongva people were fucking butchered like animals over the course of the California Genocide. I guarantee you that the survivors' descendants would rather have their land and honor back than have a bunch of random college students—who actively benefit from this very stolen land—babying them and using them for trivia points.
