There’s a fictional character I’d like to draw in his marine uniform, but I’m having trouble finding out which one would be accurate. I think he would have been involved with the gulf war as a commanding officer of some kind, and of course someone who saw combat. I want to make sure it’s accurate and do a good job. Help? I need help. I’m trying to draw a younger John Marcone as a marine, but I’m so bad at figuring these kinds of things out. It’s important to me that it’s accurate. Seems like he would have been involved in the Gulf War? Perhaps a higher ranking operative with guys following his command — guys like Hendricks, etc. — so perhaps that’d play a part in what it would look like? Surely he saw combat. Thank you!!
