Hello! I’m an incoming freshman at Pepperdine.
Right now, I’m ranking my seminar topic choices, and I wanted to get students opinions of which class I should rank highest vs lowest. Right now, I think foundations of reasoning interests me the most, as I am pre-law.
Here are my options:
- foundations of reasoning
- Grt Books Colloqium I
- SAAJ Colloqium I
- Thinking Critically
- American Language and Culture
Which classes have the best professors, aren’t super hard, and are just really interesting???
What do you recommend?!
Today is 5/14, and I still haven’t heard anything except for waitlist movement in late April and Early May.
Does anyone know any information about what’s going on with the SB waitlist?
Please share whatever results you’ve heard of!!

Hey! I need help building a good workout split for my week.
I started going to the gym (pretty inconsistently, like once to twice a week) in February, but lately I’ve been really on top of going often.
Right now, I feel like I am still stuck in a skinny fat build, and need your advice.
Here are my current stats:
5’4, female, 18 y/o, 113lbs
Here’s my current split:
• Monday (Legs):
• Leg Extensions: 3x10 @ 85 lbs
• Hip Abductor (Outward): 3x10 @ 105 lbs
• Leg Press: 3x10 @ 125 lbs
• Tuesday (Upper):
• Chest Press Machine: 3x10 @ 15 lbs
• Shoulder Press Machine: 3x10 @ 15 lbs
• Lat Pulldown: 3x10 @ 40 lbs
• Seated Rows: 3x10 @ 32 lbs
• Wednesday: Active Rest (walking/light cardio)
• Thursday: Repeat Leg Day + Inward Abductor (85 lbs)
• Friday: Repeat Upper Body Day
If I can’t make one day, I try to go Saturday.
I’m aware these aren’t very impressive numbers, however, I do weights that I feel genuinely challenge me, without injuring myself. I know I am not very strong at the moment, which is why I’m going to the gym.
Anyways, please drop any advice you have for me! Thank you!

Be so honest with me.
When do you think the next UCSB waitlist acceptances will be?
I’m tweaking out (in-state, econ&accounting)
Hey everyone! I made this for everyone who is on the UCSB waitlist.
It has a few questions about your application/profile, and I’m hoping it can help all of us get some information from the waitlist.
I realize that the waitlist is pulled from by institutional need, but I’m making this for all my fellow waitlist warriors who are coping rn…
Thank you!!
