Curious to see what are your top items to bring with you on job sites besides your usual tools. Mine is this perfectly sized chair.

Traveling Techs/Electricians

I posted this earlier not knowing Reddit rules. Ended up getting kicked out for spamming. My bad guys. Trying this again.

This is just someone thing I thought of and went out to buy a 3D printer just to see if I could do it.

I’ve been the guy that forgets his LOTO lock on a breaker and has to get called back to the job to take it off. It’s kind of embarrassing (but at least everyone was safe right? )

This is what I came up with to solve that solution and it’s worked great for me. My thinking with this was that I needed a way to be alerted before I leave the job site without removing my lock.

A lot of you guys are thinking, that would never happen to me because blah blah blah I’m hot shit and never forget anything. Or maybe you’re not a travel guy and your lock always stays on you or near you. Cool.

Anyway, give me your feedback please. I’m even looking into a patent just cuz ya never fkkn know.

Thanks guys.

This is a little device I came up with to help me from leaving my LOTO lock behind at a job. Now every time I’m on a job, before I leave the parking lot I get alerted if I do.

I hate admitting it, but it’s definitely happened to me a few times—especially after a long day of troubleshooting.

It’s rare, but when it happens it feels catastrophic.

I ended up messing around with a small idea to help keep track of my lock, and it’s actually helped me avoid that situation entirely so far.

Is this something you guys actually run into, or have I just been unlucky?

Curious how your companies handle it when it happens.
