Will this work
Philodendron dean mcdowell was growing very upright, so I put it in this long container and laid it on its side, but it seems like a lot of leca compared to the rootball which is just on the far end of the container.

I’ve had this crystallinum for about a year and half, the leaves have sized up in that time but I recently moved to a much drier place (hence a new cabinet purchase). In the last month she’s developed these yellow spots, which I have recently tried to treat with phyton 27. She also put out this new leaf that ripped upon emerging and now looks busted as hell. She’s been growing in a moss/bark mixture with a layer of leca in the bottom. She probably needs a repot.
Will it bounce back if I cut off all the leaves? I’m really disliking how long and spread out the petioles get as well (the old two leaves have petioles wrangled and tied up).
Thanks for any help!
