Someone dumped an entire flock in the desert by my house. I managed to save most of them before dark. But I cannot figure out what breed this pullet is? Any ideas? The light colored one in the front.
My male Peking’s beak has been looking like it’s…shedding? For a while now. He is 1 year old. I’m not sure what’s going on…. He has constant access to clean water, and not just for drinking, it’s a kiddie pool for him and his mate to swim in.
He is on food meant for ducks. Is other wise healthy. He HATES me so I can’t really catch him to check it without severely traumatizing him emotionally and mentally lol.
I read a possible fungal or bacterial infection but that seems unlikely since none of my other ducks have issue? Or a nutritional imbalance… but again he is on duck food?
Not sure of maybe it’s normal if I should be concerned. Please help. I’m newer to ducks. I have had Muscovy for years, but these two Peking are my first mallards.
