Discussion - Grandma's Boy (2006)

Looks like between here and YouTube, we are going to be watching Grandma's Boy this weekend.

I'm interested to see how this holds up since I last watched it 20 years ago. To a 15 year-old stoner, this was hilarious. Now... we shall see.

Discussion - Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery (1997)

This weekend, we are watching the first Austin Powers movie from 1997.

This month, after watching Superbad recently, I wanted to go back and watch some of the comedies from the 90's and early 2000's to see how they hold up, and this seems like a great place to start. It's been probably 20 years since I watched this first Austin Powers movie, but I'm looking forward to a light-hearted laugh.

Where do you all stand on this one? Does it hold up? And what was your first impressions compared to now?

Discussion - The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 (1986)

This week we are going to watch and talk about The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, from 1986.

This... is a weird one. It's nothing like the original, but I appreciate them not trying to replicate that. It's been years since I watched this, but I'm ready to see it again.

Discussion - Superbad (2007)

This weekend we are watching and talking about 2007's, Superbad.

It'll be nice to watch a comedy after the last two movies, and it hardly gets better than this. I watched this movie a ton back in the day, but it's probably been a good decade since I've seen it in full. Very much looking forward to going back down memory lane and seeing if this bad boy holds up.

Discussion - Kids (1995)

It was a close call, but it looks like this week we are going to be watching Kids, from 1995.

I adore this movie. It's a tough watch at times, especially now as a grown man, but this movie floored me when I was a teenager. I watched it recently, and it hits different, but is still impactful.

I'm excited to watch it again and see what you all think about this one.

Free air?

Does anyone know a good place to get free air? I have a slow leak that I'm having to fill up every few days, and paying $2:50 for air is the worst.

Discussion - Watchmen (2009)

This week we are watching Watchmen from 2009.

This is a very solid movie, and though its been some years since I last enjoyed it, I'm looking forward to watching it again.

What do you guys think? Zach Snyder's best? Overrated? Underrated? What about the rest of the Watchmen material? The comic? The extended versions? The mini-series?

Discussion - Inland Empire (2006)

This week it looks like we are watching Inland Empire.

This is pretty much the only Lynch movie I have not seen, so I'm looking forward to finally checking it out. Even though I'm kind of intimidated by it.
