Elm issue?
👋 I have an older Elm that's got something going on. Did my Google diligence and just don't feel sure I've come up with the right answer.
As you can see there is damage to many leaves. Some of the stipled lighter areas are raised, some flat. Most brown spots are towards the leaf tips, but not all. And there are holes in several leaves.
The problem persists as far up the tree as I am able to see and is not isolated to any particular branches.
I've included photos of not-leaf stuff where I found anything notable - 10. Discoloration 11+12. Holes at the base of the trunk. They aren't much deeper than what the light allows you to see. 13. Brown patches look like recent bark abrasion to me, not sure what could have caused it.
The holes in the leaves have me leaning pest (closest I found was European Elm Flea Weevil), vs fungus or anything else.
