This is a new-to-me green magnetic on top of a one-coat black polish. It’s always a gamble to do your nails right before bed, but my current fave top coat saved the day! More like night lol. Video of the shimmer in the comments
I rediscovered one of my stamping plates last night, and I decided to stamp all my nails instead of just an accent! My husband says this looks like filigree, but all I can see is a hotel carpet pattern lol
I’m on a low-buy this year, but I was able to make an order for some new magnetic polishes last week (stayed in budget!). I bought this very popular sunset-inspired polish. I love the amount of shift I can get out of a single manicure!
I ordered some new stamping stuff recently. They included a melamine sponge (magic eraser) in the box and advised to “buff off the shine” of the new stamper because it has a protective coating when it comes from the manufacturer. Tell me why I never knew you were supposed to do this?? I have had my other stamper (that I thought just didn’t work) for years now, turns out I missed priming it! First stamp (ring finger) with the primed tool pictured 😌
Important edit: only do this with opaque, older style stampers. The clear ones do NOT need to be primed!
Are you a fan of using nail stickers? I think they have the potential to be super cool, but every type I’ve ever tried has the issue of being “raised” on the nail, and they catch on things/get squished. Am I supposed to put top coat over the sticker? Maybe user error lol

All I knew for this one was that I wanted a cool base color and a warm topper. I ended up going with one coat of a periwinkle shade and layering a pinkish topper over it! Rhinestones for fun, too :)

Sometimes, you just need a good rainbow on your nails. This polish came from a surprise gift my husband ordered for me! It’s got a nude base, which almost looks rose-goldy with my skin tone.
I didn’t realize how late it was last night when I went to do my nails, so to avoid the dreaded bedsheet smudging I opted for a one-coat shimmer that dried super quickly. I’m grateful that I have polishes in my collection that are old reliables!
In the bottle this is a perfect olive green, but I feel like it enters (dare I say?) prugly territory on my nails. It reminds me of newborn days with my son lol
I love the deep blue sapphires of my engagement ring. This blue shimmer polish is a really good shade match! We love jewel tones over here lol

I’m loving this flakie polish today! The weather is cloudy but not too humid, and the overcast helps the gold feel glowy.
