what i think anai's classmates' casual clothes would be ~☆
akemi: i knew she had to be SUPER cute. going based off of that image of her in casual clothes, she's got that kind of feminine, shoujo protagonist look to her, but obviously in her own akemi way, with lots of things that i feel suit her. polka dots, some lace and frills, and beiges and browns throughout the outfits. alongside other colors, of course !
kouji: really love that he canonically wears cardigans (or, well, cardigan vests). i gave him a lot of lighter colors, and tried for a generally polite, soft sort of vibe. he's a little dressy but not too dressy, and i don't think he ended up standing out too much, which is what i was hoping for. he specifically got black shoes for that pop of color, and since he carries so much with him.
daisuke: he has... i think two casual outfits? so i was mostly trying to build off of those. while idk if i did the best at that, i still think it's super daisuke-ish. i was kind of trying for a skater boy feel, so he has affliction-style maximalist t-shirts, layered over long sleeved shirts, big jeans and dark, desaturated colors. very daisuke to me. even managed to find one with a kitty <333
kazue: i really love kaz, so it was hard to be unbiased,, i tried my best. he doesn't have casual fits, so i tried to make him and daisuke similar, but still different. while dai is more skater, kazue is more... rock music? he has a bit more jewelry, almost exclusively uses shades of black/grey, and ended up with a different vibe. i think i like it?
minoru: a bit lazy on my end. i like to think the triangle on his sweater in kouji's intro post is a fan graphic, so that was my excuse to go full otaku. he's canonically mentioned naruto and one piece before, so i those would be safest. outside of that, i mostly feel like he'd just want to be comfortable, so track pants and simple, soft shirts.
polly: i think she actively dresses to be taken seriously, but it still isn't her main priority. by that logic, her outfits would have visible effort, but still be simple. i wanted her to be neat but not swotty, and very practical. she gets a lot of basic pieces in various colors that she can put together in a way that works. generally. i also think she'd prefer running shoes to dress shoes.
isamu: i think in theory he dresses to be taken seriously too, because of how he seems to want to live up to polly's expectations. in this case, though, he's not exactly going above and beyond with it. generally, his outfits are pretty simple, most of his focus isn't on his wardrobe and it shows. similar to polly, his wardrobe is mostly just basic pieces combined into outfits.
naoya: he also got a casual outfit in kouji's birthday post, so i tried to lift what i could from that. i think he wears a decent amount of black and puts some effort into his outfits. there's some vague heartthrob energy in there, which makes sense. he got white shoes specifically because i wanted him to contrast kouji, since they're comrades.
misako: it hurt my soul to look for gyaru fashion on pinterest, but since misako's a new gen gal, not a classic gal, i felt she'd realistically dress differently than the gyarus in classic magazines. she ended up with a lottt of pink, which i think works for her. i didn't focus on keeping her in any one substyle for this one, so it might not be as good as it could be.
sayomi: no, i didn't make hers with my ass. sayomi's a uniquer sort of gyaru, since she tends towards darker colors in a way that isn't very goshikku or rokku. i wasn't able to find any outfits worn by actual gyarus that were similar, so most of the people in the pictures aren't gals. lots of black and purple, and a surprising amount of polka dots. i think the outfits feel much more gyaru-ish if you picture sayomi in them.
junka: she's still sporty, but she seems to be more feminine than a tropey sports girl? i've noticed most csg girls are feminine, actually. i still wanted her to dress like a good girl, so i tried juggling all three. it didn't turn out half bad! one thing i love is that michiko got mostly warmer colors while junka's were cooler, even if you'd expect the opposite based on their personalities <3
and that's all of them!! i'm hoping i didn't drop the ball on this one, ehehe.
