Visuals above, but will point out rosin looks lightly colored and fairly transparent similar to other hash producers I've enjoyed. Upgraded @o2vape hardware has been a treat as this is my second exposure to it. I have yet to try this strain from IYKYK in a jar but flavors comes through cleanly with a profile that leans moreso to Sherbanger, dank funky gas with a undertone of sweet candy profiles in the background. Prominent flavors come through strongly and linger for a short while. Compared to other Z crosses this one most definitely doesnt lean to the citrusy candy although it most definitely has some sweet creamy and sugary flavors carrying though. Effects are fairly potent but for me it's a fairly functional high I've been using for a couple rounds of golf and all the physical activities around the lake. I'm relaxed but in no way sedated.

For a first exposure to IYKYK in pen form I'm impressed. May not be exactly on par compared to my favorite flavors from TJF like Oishii or RB 2.0 but sheesh it's up there. However, I do really enjoy the combination of gas, kush and candy here. Really, when processing is done as well as this, choosing a pen that's "the best" likely comes down to personal preference. Overall I'm impressed and have put this pen through a speed run this weekend, which should say enough when I have other options available.

<Durban Poison X OG Kush>

I took my time getting this review out and have slowly found the jar really growing on me. Visuals and texture in this jar as above but it's a densely packed wet sugar feel with a nice sheen and a healthy moat of terpenes surrounding the mound of hash. Also hash was pristinely clean and lightly tinted sandy colour for this jar. Smells out the jar also very pungent with clear scents that mainly consist of fuel and kush with a background of light spiciness. Messing around with the hash and getting a dab does increase the scent considerably but the profile is consistent.

Had tried this in various ways using both my pivot, and using a rig and cold starts. Flavors coming through were very impressive IMO and translation gives off a very smooth rich doughy flavor on the front end alongside the previously noted gassiness and kushiness. No real footprint and melt was impressively clean as well, moreso than my experience with the Jammerz in comparison where I found the melt mildly dark at higher temps. Effects are also super enjoyable for both a solid morning dab being fairly euphoric but later calming which actually worked nicely for a chill morning walk with the pooch. Making it so I wasn't energetic but definitely didn't derail any if my plans with me being overly tired afterwards.

Overall, I'd say cookie strains are never my preference but for anyone after a really solid version of GSC this does it incredibly well. This jar does alot well, with solid flavor translation, smooth vapour and some effects fit for alot of situations. Glad I'm trying this one before this classic from IYKYK is gone for good.

Visuals as above and man is it wild. Dark purple backgrounds but busted up you get some bright vivid greens as well. Nicely trimmed and busts easily with a good moisture level with a crisp snap to the stems and a somewhat greasy texture to the buds when busting them down. Good kinetic sand crawl and far from the dry side of things. Smells were just a bit less pungent than some from this pack but still distinct with a solid combination of refreshing pine and some creamy fruity scents. Busting up the nose gets so much more intense and adds a noticeable gassy later to the profile. Always love revisiting this one.

Burn near perfect, easy light, quick oil ring and near white ash. Flavors come through quickly with pine again leading the way but you do slowly start noticing the creamy berry type flavor later on. Overall there really isn't much of a footprint either in terms of smokiness. Potency is on the medium side of things with a balanced high that leans slightly to more relaxing. I still tend to smoke it anytime of the day but that may be influenced that I just dig the profile. Glad to have this tasty profile back in the rotation as I likely just polished off my last round of the NT version a few weeks back.

Looking forward to the perm cherry that I'll likely try out shortly.

Visuals are so damn eye catching with ridiculously dark plant material and a copious amount of untouched resin in the exterior. Feel on the buds were mildly drier than others from PBB with a bit more crisp exterior but still fairly proper and sticky bust. When this one landed I'd say it was mildly muted especially in comparison to some of the other loud strains from PBB like cake mints and perm cherry assaulting my nose beforehand. I'd say after a minute in the jar this was more prominent with an otherwise sweet and slightly gassy scent. Busted it does become much more fuel dominant with rich and deep fuel with sweetness on the background.

Burn is fairly proper as has been the trend with PBBs stuff as of late with smooth smoke, easy light and quick piling resin ring. I'll say translation was my least favourite of the other strains I listed including cake mints, perm cherry and HR10. Mildly smoky and less prominent flavors compared to the smell and dry pull. Nothing offensive just the least impressive if the pack. Effects were pretty noticeable hitting initially with a euphoric high that slowly becomes more relaxing. Far from sedative and IMO a good anytime of the day smoke that could also be used as a reasonable option to wind down at the end of the night with moderate potency.

Have yet to come across this strain so will be curious if it gets another round as it does seem promising. Compared to staples like HR10 and cake mints it's just not there atm.

Visuals as above. Exterior doesn't have an enormous amount of trichomes on the exterior but in the crevices and interior you can appreciate the heads being short stalked, fat and globular and nicely matured with so many ambers being easily spotted. Buds have an almost greasy feel to them and moksture level seems very on par with a easy snap to the stems and buds but a near perfect kinetic sand crawl in the grinder. Smells are easily the most notable feature with alot of layers to the profile. It's a sourish almost limey/grapefruit scent mixed with a creamy doughy mixture with a wee bit of spiciness. Busted it lets off a bit of gesseousness but the profile stays relatively the same outside of this but the pungency is real nice.

Burns pretty impressive too with smooth full smoke, easy light and burn, and quick piling resin ring. Only thing I could go more for is a better translation as I do get a bit of the gassy and slight cookie profile but the other layers are lost in comparison to the nose. For the first release as I've been told I'm pretty impressed and definitely looking for another round. Potency is where this really shines. Hits hard and fast behind the eyes and feels really euphoric before settling pretty heavily into the body with some relaxing effects. King lasting and kept me feeling stoned for a few hours.

The potency is super nice and medicinal and if the nose comes through a bit more for me in the smoke it's something I'd be after time and again.

One of the most anticipated smokes of this pack for me. I'll first talk about the smells which lean very heavily towards Permanent marker out the bag with fuel and that chemical ink type scent with an overall rich heavy feel to the nose. Busted you get added almost sweet creamy fruit in the mix, which reminds alot of what Kush Mints usually added plus if assume the fruit comes from the KCG side of things. It's a complex, pungent and room filling nose which had me saving this one closer to last. Visuals as above but I'll point out the greasy look and feel alongside numerous mature and very fat globular heads atop short stalked trichomes.

Burn was impressive within parameters that matter most, smooth smoke and one of the more impressive flavor translations, being close to on par with cake mints and HR10 which have been around awhile. Maybe just mildly less. PM leads the flavor + some noticeable rich creaminess with some lighter ripe fruit notes on exhale. Enjoyed the combo here but I really love Kush Mints profiles and the richness reminded me of a solid one I had in the past from Silver Dollar Farms. Effects are fairly solid but just short of a knockout potency. Something I've been smoking during the daytime but likely better suited for an evening affairs as it does settle into the body a bit later on.

I will be happy if this one sticks around. It may have helped that the Permanent Marker craze has died down and I enjoyed revisiting that distinct profile. Either way it's doing its thing quite well. Flavorful, smooth and moderately potent.

Last few rounds of PBB gas been impressive and this one (maybe outside of colour blast for me personally) was some satisfying smoke I'd want to revisit.

Soureen X Hume

Buds are incredibly looking. Nice trim and incredibly resinous all over. Closer look at the resin show nice mature heads that are numerous and reasonably sized with an array of milky and amber heads. Buds were also proper in terms of a super nice snap to the stems and a sticky material once busted with a satisfying kinetic sand crawl. The smell on this one surprised me and easily one of the most intriguing with a unique sweet fruity scent that also has a nice sourish tart scent. The fruit for me is more mangoish although I've heard phenos have had grape in the past which just be my own perception of things. Regardless it's most definitely, sweet, fruity, and sourish. Busted you almost get a mild freshness added with a wee bit of woodiness or pine. Love it.

Burn is fairly impressive as well with an easy light, quick forming oil ring and a near white ash with mild peppering. Flavors come through very nicely with everything but the fresh woodiness or pine. Sweet, tart fruity and again for me it leans more mango type flavor. It's prominent. I do notice a bit of a footprint or some smokiness though maybe a wee tickle on the throat but this is fairly minor. May be that I am comparing to the other PBB which were smoking impressively this round. Effects are a good daytime smoke IMO, gets you feeling a little elevated with your head in the clouds and mildly spacey but functional.

It's been a minute since I've had a profile like this and I'm all for having this in the rotation. To switch gears I'm likely to try the other Hume cross which is a stark contrast. I will hope that this one survives the culling from the testers as i feel this could be deadly with a little more dialing on that burn.

Biker Kush

Visuals above but seriously something to admire. Buds arent as dense but are heavy in the resin department. Light minty greens wild structures smaller sized buds being copiously caked. (Check the resin in last few pics) Feel on the buds is crisp on the exterior, uber sticky interior with a easy snap to the stems. Bust is that perfect kinetic sand making rolling as simple as it can be basically packing itself down under gravity in the grinder. Smells are a classic blend of rich earthy, musky or coffee leaning scent balanced out with a fresh pine and lighter lemon peel all wrapped in diesel and fuel overtones. Busted up this becomes heavier on the diesel and fuel side of things but retains all the notes above. This one was pungent right out the gates and continued to hold down the same prominent and intense nose for a solid week or so in a jar while I worked my way through other strains. I always found myself shoving my schnoz in the jar to reminisce on the smell, it's just addictive and nostalgic for me.

Burn also very impressive for a first experience with this grower. Near white ash, quick resin ring forming, easy light and with draws that slowly got more effortless as the jay went on. Started chugging along all on its own after the first two-thres tokes, with satisfying lung expansive smoke. Smooth and solid translation of flavors as well with me picking up hints of everything listed above in the nose to varying degrees. I'd say the gas, pine and lemon made the biggest impacts on the flavor with lighter notes of the complex earthy coffee-ish type flavor. It's a mouthcoater and lingered a bit after each toke. Effects were also appreciated as I found it to be one of those that slow you down and make you feel relaxed fairly quickly without the initial uptick. Euphoric, heavy eyes and relaxed muscles. I always happened to be smoking this earlier in the day outside of one earlier evening but could see this being better suited for winding down or putting your ass to bed later on as the day comes to an end.

Overall, super impressed and more than stoked to hear he's got another drop coming up shortly.

Purple Kush x Hume (Garberville PK x Dosidos)

Visuals above, resin everywhere, exterior and most definitely on the interior. Fat heads, mature and numerous. This one stunk the most out of the pack. Ludicrously pungent, rank, and overly gassy that's heavy and distinct right out the gate when the pack landed. Over a few days in the jar this only amplified the same scent. Busted you get all the same with intensity dialed up even more with a bit of rubbery fresh tires and maybe a wee bit of limey zestiness that's fleeting in comparison to the other aromas but I seemed to pick it up occasionally. Bust is really proper with overly sticky feel that crawls all over itself and packs itself down with gravity. Humidity level also seems to be right where it should be like the rest of the buds I had this round.

Burn is impressive with a quick light, fast forming oil ring that piles up instantly and keeps on collecting. Near white ash and all the same flavor profile coming through although slightly less and it is mildly smoky at times, this seems less apparent as the smoke went on and maybe flavor overtook things. Overall, super prominent flavors that any lover of PK would like as the translation is most definitely there. Effects are heavy and the PK dominate the effects as well in my opinion. Heavy eyes and relaxed muscles become unavoidable as I slowly made my way through the jay.

I'll say that in terms of what I got from Gorilla Goons this was easily my favourite smoke this round. Still a tad smoky if I'm being critical but really nice all around for a PK cross. I hope they keep her around.

I'll keep this one short and "sweet"

New hardware doing its thing. Easily one of the best translating versions of TJF I've had in a pen. Flavors all there but I find it effortless to get massive plumes of overly flavorful and a clear distinct profile with next to zero interference.

Likely due Tomy own experiences I would compare the profile to being somewhat like RB2.0 very much so in the candy side of things with a little bit of lemon/lime/sprite. For me it's like RB 2.0 Z terps wrapped in cotton candy. Effects are solid getting you feeling overly euphoric and most definitely boosting the mood keeping you functional enough to keep doing what you're up to.

Unreal flavor and has me very much eyeing a jar of this exact strain as well. If you like mouth staining really sweet candy profiles with some gas in the mix that's This is gonna do it for you.

Spear shaped buds have such a badass look to them with super bright prominent crawling pistils and every other crevice filled to the brim with multitudes of trichomes. Feel on the buds have a nice snap to the stem and a sticky feel to the buds on the bust. I will say I found a few just short of mature seeds in the buds I had, say 3-4 out of the 5 or so G, so nothing major but something to note. Smells were super prominent out the bag and initially I'd say I picked up some definite floral notes alongside a rich side of Runtz. After a few days in a jar it was moreso a bit of funky, creamy rich sweetness with almost a sweet berry fruitiness maybe mild floral but this became far less apparent for one reason or another. Busted you get the addition of a rich creamy gassiness. Overall another pungent one that was super complex with an addictive dry pull.

Burn was pretty solid with a near white ash, quick piling resin ring and good creamy funky, sweet flavor coming through. It does get mildly smoky at times but I'd still say it's more smooth than anything and this really didn't bother me, just kind of impacted the flavor occasionally. Effects were also nice with a balanced high that felt functional. Had been smoking it during the day and rolled a few up for some rounds of golf between the constant rain where I'm at.

Overall easy smoking, flavorful and good daytime smoke IMO. I'm curious if a bit of the smokiness came from the presence of seeds as every other aspect was super solid and impressive. Overall, I'd still say the two Hume crosses were my favourites of this wound from gorilla gods and I appreciate the new flavors that are a nice contrast to some of the strains out there. Will hope for a few of them to make a reappearance in the future.

Gas Basket #3

Gary Payton x Bakers Dozen

Visuals, super resinous and live the darker backgrounds on the newer drop. Buds in terms of moisture level are amazing with a crisp exterior and incredibly sticky interior on the buds with a super nice quick snap to the stems. Busted was also again near perfect with that kinetic sand crawl. Smells were also incredible. Out of the jar smells were insanely pungent with a very complex gassy scent, refreshing, spicy, kushy, basically lots of layers and depth. Busted you then add a heavy rubbery fuel with a bit of refreshing pine and spicy kushiness. Love it.

Burn was also impressive with lovely and satisfyingly thick smoke that's equally smooth with a solid flavor translation that's very true to the nose if not slightly less so. Enjoyed that there really was no footprint or smokiness impactong the intensity of flavors. Again I am more than impressed with the burn moreso than anything this round, maybe due to a bit more of a proper moisture level, but this is just my own opinion. Regardless things are dialed riiiight in. Effects are also nice with a solid potency that just makes me feel overly stoned before later becoming relaxing on the body. I wouldn't say it's a overly sedative strain but potency is definitely up there.

This new batch is phenomenal, and even the older batch was smoking very properly. Translation and flavor were amped up on the newer batch which was really the only major difference. Overall impressed with this one as with every other strain from PBB this time around and could suggest any of them

Cake Mints

Visuals as above but damn it looks good and fits the bill of looking "caked". Resin is extensive with long stalks and fat heads with varying maturity. Love the darker purples hiding behind the matted appearance if the resin. Smells are prominent right out the jar with very creamy and doughy scents with a healthy dallop of rich heavy gassiness. Busted it holds onto all those scents but is balanced out with a rank rubbery fuel that competes against the rich heavy baked goods smells. Busted the material is very sticky, crawls all over itself and rolls itself. Upon a failed attempt your left with a near perfect naked log of busted material.

Burn quite impressive with a near white ash, heavy oil ring, smooth smoke and nice translation of flavor. Not quite as palette staining as the NT CKM but that's a high bar to meet. It's still very impressive without any smokiness impeding the flavors. Creamy/doughy, dank, rubbery fuel. Effects are no slouch either with good effects that lean slightly more to the relaxing side of things. Nothing sedative but a good after work wind down choice for me personally.

One of the most consistent strains in my personal experience. Always flavorful and I typically have very minimal to nil complaints. Delicious sweet dessert strain I can easily recommend without hesitation

No Till Cherry Kush Mints

Visuals above. Buds were uber tight on the medium to smaller side of things. Dense but busted easily with a lighter yet stickier feel. Trichomes are in the smaller but numerous side with Amber's spotters pretty easily everywhere. Rolled effortlessly and tacked together easily. Smells out the jar, like a nice berry/fruity, kushy and slightly rich gassy scent. Busted it was unreal transition that flips gears to a intense rubbery rich heavy fuel with a bit of funky and creaminess to it. Leans hard to the kush Mints side of things at this stage IMO.

Burn is impressive in this one. White ash, quick forming resin ring that piles up and good translation that comes out early and just keeps improving. Very comparable to the nose with a very solid translation. Occasionally did get a hot spot of smokiness but this was seldom and short-lived. Otherwise burning near perfect and leaves flavor lingering on the mouth for a while after. Moreso again the kush Mints dank rich rubbery fuel with rich almost creaminess. Different from cakemints that it lacks the doughiness but just as satisfying. Effects are solid with again a fairly balanced effect maybe a bit less potent than the ZTK. Gets you feeling stoned and somewhat relaxed but not overly sedated.

I'm digging this one big time. The no till line from these guys has yet to disappoint and again this one is a big hit.

ZTK

Zkittlez x Triangle Kush

Visuals are ridiculous and check em above. Buds were crazily dense and just as sticky. Breaking apart the buds took some effort but the stems snapped easily, with a ton of resistance from the dense buds and sticky resin. Maybe slightly on the higher moisture side but could be just a product of how dense it is. Smells were quite muted on arrival but became so much more impressive after 2-3 days in the jar. Rich heavy gassy scent with a bit of kush. Busted apart you get some definite zesty sharp rubbery fuel. Nice kinetic sand crawl on the bust and rolled up nicely.

Burns a near white ash, thick resin ring and smooth smoke. Translation is again a intense rubbery fuel with a lil zestiness and it's got a good translation although less than the nose. It's more impressive than the last two experiences I've had from PBB. This one shines in the effects department as she is pretty potent and hits the noggin quickly with a pretty uplifting buzz after a the first third of the jay before coming back down with some heavier effects on the body. Nice balanced one but she smacks.

Digging this one, and considering it was the one I had the least expectations of the pack I'm stoked to see how the rest of these are smoking. Pleasantly impressed all around.

Skunk #1 x Diesel

Visuals as above and they're nuts. Big buds, greasy looking exterior and untouched trichomes cover the surface. Packaging is also impressive especially after seeing condition of the buds, packed snugly but not squished. Close look at the trichomes was showing many areas of amber, cloudy and some clear heads that all seemed nicely matured and plump. Feel on the buds was a perfect snap, slightly greasy feel and super sticky once you start busting up the buds with a great kinetic sand crawl. Smells also right out the jar are offensive with a super prominent funky scent dominating everything, that plus burnt rubber. Busted it elevated and starts delivering on some definite skunk and sharper citrus notes in the back, and as I walked away from the room and came back it was rank.

Burn delivered a fast forming oil ring and some true flavors coming throughout. Although it was a slow start with it initially seeming slow burning with weak smoke in the first 1/4 and slightly muddled flavors, but then it came together with a very flavorful with mouthcoating dank skunk with strong funk in the background. Smoke was also smooth throughout with a salt and pepper ash. Overall, much improved burn compared to a more recent experience from PBP.

Effects were also really great with strong effects hitting hard and quick. Hits the body and head in the same brush stroke but isn't an absolute couch lock. It's strong and IMO more suited for night affairs.

Considering this is his first run, I am quite impressed and am looking for further iterations which are likely coming down the line in July.

Moon Hoe (cured 8mo)

Will again qualify this review with the overarching statement that I am no hash connoisseur and I enjoy it only periodically. However, I will also say I can appreciate quality.

The hash arrived jarred up and in two larger masses, dense but incredibly delicate to bust up once you add enough pressure. Almost feathering over itself in soft layers. Easy to roll a snake and so simple to bust up with your fingers into a jay otherwise. Under a macro lense you can appreciate the majority of it is trichomes heads with very little plant matter or even stalks to talk about. Feel isn't overly wet and greasy but you can easily appreciate how sticky your fingers get afterwards. Smells on this one weren't appreciated so much out the jar but in the jay become much more apparent, adding a fresh lemony scent with slight refreshing scents like you busted up some Pine/woodiness or rubbed your fingers on some fresh herbs.

Melts/bubbles easy when hit with a bit of heat from a lighter. I like to toss it in a dry vape to watch it bubble down on top of some flower and of course the snake in the jay is a must. In both scenarios this one translated very nicely with those same notes above and maybe even a bit moreso than the initial nose let on. Like getting a nice lil waft of lemon and pine every toke. Potency wasn't overly knock me out but most definitely aided in making the experience much more relaxing, lowering the eyelids and slowing the thoughts. Something I'd expect with aged/cured product. Enjoyed this thoroughly and impressed me with the distinct flavors which are least in my experience has been a rarity amongst the traditional hash always leaning heavily herbal. Overall, I'd say this is a definite win.
