Downsizing from ATX to mATX (Lian Li A3): which motherboard, cooling and fans for a long lasting, future proof build?
Hey everyone,
I'm moving to a smaller apartment and shrinking my ATX build into a Lian Li A3 mATX (Glass Edition). Priority is hardware that lasts and stays future proof. I want to reuse as much as possible and I'm open on cooling.
Keeping:
CPU: Ryzen 7 7800X3D
GPU: Sapphire Pulse RX 7900 XT
RAM: G.Skill Flare X5 2x16GB DDR5 6000
SSD: Kingston KC3000 2TB
PSU: be quiet Pure Power 12 M 850W (ATX)
CPU cooler: Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE (154mm), open to an AIO
Fans: 4x Endorfy Stratus 140 (140mm)
Replacing:
mATX motherboard (from an ATX B650 Tomahawk) and the case.
Looking for recommendations on a future proof mATX AM5 board with WiFi, whether to go air or 240 AIO in the A3, and how to lay out my fans in this case. Any A3 specific tips welcome.
Thanks.
