This season I was playing with a young lad on my team at ST. At a few points in the season when a defender was sweeping up a ball he would run behind them and lean over their strong side stick to slightly ramp the ball over for him to then run onto.

Most of the time he would get away with it with the defenders shouting “you can’t come from behind like that!”. A few times he would be blown by the umpire and a couple of cards were given. Can anyone clarify what exactly the rules are on this because it did seem dodgy to watch.
