In Bridge Master on BBO, the solution sometimes seems like 'resulting'.

I am working through Bridgemaster and have gotten to the Advanced hands. I try to understand the what hints the declarer might get to choose a specific line of play and, tbh, have benefited a great deal in my hand play.

However I've reached what seems like a block.
Hands 23 and 25 are virtually identical in distribution and contract (6S), there are no competing bids but the winning lines of play suggested in the solutions is slightly different.
The 'declarer' in hand 23 is cautious about playing the 3 winning tricks of the outside suit while the 'declarer' in hand 25 seems quite confident that the 3 tricks in the outside suit are safe to play before drawing trump.

The only obvious difference is that the opening lead in 23 is a KH, while the lead in 25 is a trump.

There is nothing in the bidding to indicate that the Kh is a singleton and not from KQH.

What am I missing that the phantom declarer sees that affects the declarers decision on the distribution of the Ds?

TIA

IMO, the most useful tool for learning declarer play Bridge Master on BBO

Learning declarer play of the hand from books is complex and doesn't provide interaction with cards and hands and, most importantly, doesn't tell the 'student' how to look at and analyze hands for context and flow.

I think I've leaned more about declarer play from analyzing, playing, making errors and reading the hints about hand play in Bridge Master than from months of f2f play in clubs.

I wish there was a site for guided play that does for defense what Bridge Master does for declarer play.

Cairo Intl Airport. Shuttle to hotel

My plan is to make the airport to hotel (4 seasons, Cairo )by prearranged trip through tripadvisor or viator.

Any problems with that?

If Selective Color is considered 'tacky', why is the red coat in Schindler's list so wonderful to most?

If Selective Color is considered 'tacky', why is the red coat in Schindler's list so wonderful to most viewers?

Are their other examples of photography that go beyond the standards?

I have my opinions about both halves of this question but I don't want to get in anyone's way to express their own.

What is 'tacky'?

What makes anything 'tacky'?
What are other techniques, subjects, opinions in photography 'tacky'?

Posted this on BBO Forums looking for online partner . Anything I should add, edit or take out?

https://www.bridgebase.com/forums/topic/92027-beginneradvancing-intermediate-looking-for-partner/page__p__1092519__fromsearch__1#entry1092519

Comments/ critique welcome

I have no idea how to classify myself.

Starting from 0, I have been playing 2 years usually 2,3 times week and generally do pretty well. (I have a bit fewer than 90 black points all earned locally with casual partner if that's any measure.)

My card play is better than my bidding and I am really terrific at being the dummy.

I usually live in Palm Springs CA but for the month of July I am taking a break and living in a small isolated city in the mountains of New Mexico (Mountain Time) and I can easily adjust my non-existent schedule to match whenever a partner is available.

I play 2:1 and most major conventions, RKC Blackwood, stayman, weak 2s, strong 2c, reverses, gerber, etc.

With a previous online partner I played often against robots with a phone line open so we could discuss bidding sequences and hand play but any playing opportunity is fine with me.

I am a retired healthcare/academic and my demeanor is quite laid back.

My goal is to play enough to smooth out my bidding and have a good->great time. I only play MPs and don't know the strategy for IMPs but can learn pretty much anything.

TIA

Bread Vendor in Tashkent

Comments, critique welcome.

Shot 3 weeks ago in market in Tashkent, Uzbekistan with an OM-5 Mark II, an incredibly marvelous camera for street shooting.
This was my first outing with the camera; I had bought the f4 zoom for its weight and was not at all disappointed.

OM-5 Mark ll, OM 12-45mm F4.0, 29 mm (58 mm (equiv))

1/80 sec at f / 5.6, Aperture priority, Center-weighted average ISO 600

This is my interpretation of what street photography is - for me.
Quite obvious subject in an important part of the frame.
Enough elements to allow the viewer to understand what she/he is being shown and to create a story.
Distracting elements, dulled, blurred or cropped.

No dependance on title, caption, mysterious shadows, fancy editing or stuff to make the picture have any meaning.
