Support - looking for some help on TS3+

Running a MBP and TS3+. I have a Ugreen 2.5gb usb C ethernet adaptor. When plugged into the mac directly I get 2gb/2gb on a speed test (that's what my fiber will run), and when plugged into the front USBc port of the TS3 I get 400 down and 1100 up, where prior to it being on a 2.5 gb switch I'd get 980/980, so my overall speed actually decreased.

I have a Samsung G95C plugged in to the port on the back, so I think I'm out of thunderbolt(?) ports. Curious what you'd recommend so I don't have to plug in this dongle every time on my mac. Thanks!

Dipping toes into NAS

Home user of Unifi stuff. I'm savvy, but not like most of you. My network runs well, but I don't get into a lot of customization.

Kids are getting older and now have phones. Essentially, the photo/video library / storage cost thing is about to be real. I'm curious if putting a NAS in my system would be wise. I have people in the house on both android and iphone, and if I put in a NAS, I'd probably want to somehow open it up to other family to store their photos too.

I'm not worried about storage costs, I can get some good deals there.

But user interface, segmenting for each user (see their photos, not mine), and easy to use apps would be important. My understanding is that this is where UI fell short, and synology makes it "easier".

Curious if that's changed.

I like the idea of seamless time machine backups and such. I would consider adding a mini pc or maybe a mac mini to run some sort of docker app or whatever to make this all happen. Above all though, it has to be redundant, quick on search, and quick to serve photos when away from the house (we have a 2 gig fiber line at the moment, but my unifi stuff is so old I'm only able to get 1gb, which is still more than enough for what we need).

How easy is it to use the NAS to host photos/videos for multiple people/users?
What additional hardware is needed?
What software are people using on their phone/web to accomplish?
Seemless backups, without any interaction from the user (like google photos), or you have to force a backup?
Ability to delete from phone, and have it delete on the NAS?

Other Kia rims that fit?

Looking at some 18" rims from a telluride because finding EV9 rims are $$$$ and needles in haystacks.

I'm just curious if anyone has put on an 18" rim. I'll need to try to figure out weight ratings on the rims too, but just curious if an 18" would even clear the brakes on a 2024 GT line.

hub bore 67.1,offset 49.5,bolt pattern 114.3,rim 18x7.50

Our 24 GT is in the shop at the moment because the glove box would not open without force, and closing took the same hard push. Disconnecting the damper allows it to move freely, so you'd think that $16 damper could be replaced easily.

Nope.

The VIN requires the entire glovebox assembly to be replaced. Okay - I've pulled a glove box out before. Maybe an hour, tops.

Nope.

The HV battery needs to be de-energized. Much of the interior dismantled.

6+ hrs.

Had I known, we probably would have just lived with it.

I pray the car doesn't rattle upon its return.

In other news - the Sorrento really isn't in the same league.
