My car has 5.25” front door speakers with 3/4” tweeters and 4” rear door speakers. No amp or sub but it appears to be wired for one.

I’m looking to completely upgrade and install a sub. I was wondering if anyone has any speaker recommendations and what type of sub would work best. I’d like to have tight low end that just boosts the kick drum and makes the mix sound more full without muddying anything up too much. Idk what sub size or what kind of box would work well for that. I couldn’t find much online on what makes a sub good for heavy music. If anyone has any input on that, I’d much appreciate it.

Car is an 05 Subaru Impreza WRX wagon in case anyone wants to know.
