Can you give reasons a bidet toilet is better than a bidet seat?

I love my bidet seat in one of my bathrooms. Our other bathroom is at a point where we need to replace the entire toilet, which has a crack in it. My wife is suggesting we get a normal toilet with another bidet seat. I have a hunch that since we need to replace the whole toilet anyway we might be missing a rare opportunity to get a whole bidet toilet. I've seen advice about this question in past discussions about bidet seats, but those were in the context of replacing a working toilet. I'd like to get people's best arguments for getting a whole bidet toilet. I don't need more info about the cons (cost, maintenance, etc.). I just want the pros. Our budget is up to $4k and we live in New York, if that constrains anything.
