Water turned off on allotments - Kent , England

Our allotment association anticipated the hosepipe ban by a few days (South East Water ban is enforced from the 3rd off July).

We had an email advising that the ban is on last week. All water was immediately turned off.

The thing is, we are charged for water , as a separate and named part of our rents which is outlined in the contract as a separate named fee.

We were not told in the email that water would be turned off, all it said is that hosepipe ban is on.

Is this legal? Any advice much appreciated, thanks in advance.

Is it time finally??

I have corn and beans ready to go now. Is it still to early ? I'm in Kent, no frosts predicted but temps will frost down to 4 c at night at some point next week. Apparently corn can withstand -2 briefly so it should be ok?

What is everyone else doing ?
