Hello po! I would just like to rant about this prof of ours and, me and my classmates need a little bit of your help.

We have a professor for Readings in Philippine History, and while I won’t mention any names for privacy reasons, we’ve been feeling uncomfortable with some of his “unprofessional” behavior in class.

One of the things we’ve noticed is his frequent use of cuss words during discussions, which sometimes feels inappropriate and unprofessional for a classroom setting.

There was also a time when he asked us for our OPINION on why we chose CEU as our school. Majority answered “pink” because of the school’s color. Instead of simply discussing our answers, he called us “immature.” We understand that professors can be strict and that students can sometimes give lighthearted answers, but we felt that calling us immature was unnecessary, especially since he specifically asked for our OPINION.

We haven’t confronted him personally about this, but we’re starting to notice where some of his comments feel BELITTLING toward us, students. We’re now considering whether we should raise this concern to the Dean office, but we’re also worried that he might find out and discuss the complaint with us or the class.

We are asking for your advice if we should report this to the dean? May we know how do CEU admins handle these kinds of situations?
