Portable vs Fivetran, anyone make the swap?

Recently the sales team at Portable reached out on linkedin to pitch their product. I have never heard of them but have a strong disdain for Fivetran's pricing model. So has anyone else used them for the data ingestions? Recently we moved a bunch of postgres<>bigquery connectors out of Fivetran into Datastream. So now we mostly use Fivetran for all of our Ads connectors and some other odd one off things. Specifically has anyone used it to get data into BigQuery? I don't see too much documentation about BQ on their site.

How much do you all tip at bars?

There are a few different scenarios, but generally do you all tip 20% or a more flat rate of $1/beer and $2/mixed drink?

- At a restaurant where I get food and drinks I'll tip 20% (or a bit less if the bill skewed more towards drinks instead food)

- At a brewery for beers I'll tip $1-1.50 a beer

- At cocktail bars I'll tip $2-2.50 per drink

It just feels a bit ridiculous to be tipping $4 a cocktail just because the prices have inflated to $20 a drink. Similarly with bars and restaurants now charging $10 for a beer (even non craft beers). Don't come at me for what I'm currently doing, I've loosely been tipping off vibes and do tip more for better service. I am curious what others do and am open to tipping more.
