Asking for £300 to help me make rent this month!
I’m in a bit of a difficult situation and could really use some help.
I’m £300 short on my rent after coming back to the UK from my year abroad (mandatory for language degrees at my university.) I’ve been under quite a lot of financial stress recently and have been trying to find work and other ways to cover it myself, but I’m running out of time.
During my year abroad I worked 35 hours per week on the national internship wage in France of 4.35€ per hour. During this time I was paying 1000€ per month in rent in Paris and returning to the UK this overlapped with my student house at over £800 per month.
I’ve set up a GoFundMe to help me cover the expense. I completely understand that not everyone can donate, but even sharing it or contributing a few pounds would mean so much to me.
