Softest thing I've crocheted so far!

Softest thing I've crocheted so far!

Made this fluffy bunny a few months ago Before this, I had only worked with 4-ply yarns, so this was my first time using plush yarn. What really attracted me to it was how soft it is and how much faster projects work up compared to thinner yarns.

Still obsessed with how squishy this little bunny turned out to be🤍

My first Crochet Projects 🧶

Started learning crochet a few months back and these were the first things made in order - Miffy, the tiny chick, the bear, and finally the basket😃

I still remember struggling with yarn tension and losing count of stitches every few minutes. Looking at these now, I can spot so many mistakes, but honestly that's part of the charm for me.

The bear especially went through a mini crisis because I originally tried crocheting the eyes, but they just weren’t sitting right with the stitches and kept looking uneven. Ended up switching to plastic safety eyes and it instantly looked 10x better.

And the basket, making that with macrame cord was a whole workout for my hands.

Still learning every day, but crochet has genuinely become one of my favorite hobbies lately.

Best yarn for crochet summer tops/tank tops — cotton or bamboo?

Hi everyone! I want to make some lightweight summer crochet tops/tank tops and I’m confused about which yarn to choose — 100% cotton or bamboo yarn.

I’ve read mixed opinions online. I mainly want something that: feels soft on the body, is breathable for hot weather, works well for lightweight tank tops/camis, doesn’t become too heavy or saggy after wearing

This will also be my first wearable project, so I’d really appreciate beginner-friendly yarn recommendations too.

Would you recommend:

100% cotton

100% bamboo

or a cotton-bamboo blend?

Also, if you have any favorite yarn brands for summer wearables, please share them!”
