What is the stickiest substance ever?

Due to the ongoing battle with a fly in my room, I just went out to buy some fly paper, because now it's a case of woman vs beast. I've just put it up and that stuff is extremely sticky. So that made me wonder, what is the stickiest substance known to humankind?

Absolutely hilarious...

...is not how anyone would describe this question, but it is about laughing. Once in a while, I will have hysterics, it won't be over a carefully crafted witty comment, it will be over something really silly, I'll be helpless for five, ten minutes and then feel great afterwards. Is there something different going on in the mind/body when this happens compared to 'regular' laughter? And is it a state only some of us can achieve?

Sniffin' crayons

Thanks to Michael Stevens, the new unofficial ambassador for Crayola, I ordered these and they arrived today. Sadly no Shadow crayon. But what really struck me is that they don't smell the same! I have a 24 pack that I've had for 15 years or so, and they have that literal old school smell that takes me back to infant school. I even went to my local B&M this afternoon and had a quick inhale of the ones in there and nope, no Proustian rush from those colourful bad boys. They must have changed the recipe. It's Cadbury's Creme Eggs all over again. Anyway, just needed to vent. I will still enjoy checking out the colours.

Seeing people are sharing sketches...

Some sketches I've made while watching TRIS. I wasn't well earlier in the year so it was a chance to make some art while not being very active. The colour ones of Hannah I did a bit later on, in the most appropriate colours.

Why do most of us find music so powerful?

For me, music is a conduit for my emotions. I find drums, particularly military and samba, so stirring yet wouldn't listen to them by choice. Is the effect of music based on our experiences and memories or something more innate?
