I recently signed a contract for the NHSC SUD LRP for a three year commitment in exchange for 75k at a local FQHC in my area however I feel like I’m having cold feet. I’m worried about what a ball and chain it feels like as you are essentially stuck in that facility until the term is over unless you can find a different participating facility to work in. I have about 150k in student loan debt which feels like a significant burden however I’ve been having problems at the clinic I work at which is what I think is giving me the cold feet..

I’m a new grad who just started my position in December, I’m also a new mom with a little one at home and hope to grow my family within the next few years. My husband also has a small business and full time job.

It just seems like every week there’s a new conflict of some sort and it feels discouraging as a new grad
I’d like to hear any input on LRP programs anyone has or if anyone has had any experience!
