let's not forget that sugar knew what he was doing with the jim jones sample (tw for the sample itself if anyone is uncomfortable with it)

here is some cold hard proof that 1) yoongi did work on producing this song "what do you think?" and 2) he knew about the jim jones sample because he's literally sitting there working on the song while the sample plays. this comes from a btass documentary from 2019 but i haven't been able to find the footage for YEARS. i was convinced it was wiped from the internet entirely until it popped up on my twitter feed today.

he knew what he was doing. it was his choice. can't blame other producers now

armpits panicking over rm's recent post

edit: forgot to give context. this is in reference to the throwback photos rm posted of his old culturally appropriated shitty hairdo, which has been posted on this sub already

this is just hilarious to me.

"please delete! don't give antis drag material!" bro RM IS THE ONE PROVIDING THE DRAG MATERIAL. HE IS THE ONE POSTING THESE SHITTY PHOTOS. HE HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE ONE GIVING PEOPLE REASONS TO HATE HIM.

we are genuinely devolving as a species. it was his decision to post these photos. and it's safe to assume that, as a celebrity, every photo you post will spread. namjoon and his alter, RM, both know this. some people deleting their tweets with these pictures won't fix anything.

yes he deleted the photos from his post but he still posted them to begin with. it's not anyone's fault that they're on the internet now and it's definitely not our responsibility to scrub the internet clean of these images just because he deleted some photos that were better off being left to rot in his camera roll.

namjoon's "a human" tattoo

i actually dgaf about him getting a tattoo but i'm already seeing armys use it to come to his defense, saying it's a "beautiful reminder that he's human too," which is the irritating part for me. the fandom is already forgetting about the chris brown fiasco (unsurprisingly). it feels intentional but who knows.. just very interesting timing is all i'll say

j-snot thinking he's hot when he's not

i'm having way too much fun editing these. under my yoongi post someone said they wanted more jhope snark so here's another traumatic gift.

(added nsfw tag because i want to be nice and not jumpscare you guys)

i am actually so tired of people pretending he's hot and beautiful. he's literally GAGGING on stage and making weird ass faces. i really don't get the hype...

"one of the best vocalists in kpop"

see, i could give him grace because this is one short clip, but he has many clips where he sounds awful so no grace will be given.

armys genuinely think this guy is in the top four kpop singers (the other three are jin, jk, and jimin obviously— not biased at all!) but his voice is unstable and has the appeal of dish water. i'm so tired of people pretending he can sing

armys have an ableism problem

i haven't seen this topic touched on yet so here i am. armys are incredibly ableist most of the time and it goes unnoticed by many because of how normalized ableism is in general.

i am a disabled person in both mental and physical manifestations (neurodivergent + chronically ill). i'm diagnosed autistic and my old twitter account said so. i am unable to work because of these issues. i was open about this stuff on my old account and of course those posts were dug up by the btass cult whenever i had something to say.

sometimes i would reply to armys, back when i cared to engage more, and yk what their responses were nine times out of ten?

something like these (paraphrased because this stuff happened months/years ago):

"do you get extra time on tests?"

"did teachers talk to you in a gentle voice?"

"you don't work so you can't have an opinion on bts who make millions"

"maybe you don't understand how good bts' music is because you're autistic and can't perceive things the same way" (literally what?)

"[r slur]"

"jobless" x50000

"you're genuinely slow"

"too slow to understand bts' impact"

"i don't want to hear anything from someone who does nothing to contribute to the world"

"unshowered"

some of these, like jobless and unshowered, are common insults. i am not implying that it's always ableist to think someone's hygiene is bad. horrible hygiene can also just come from someone being lazy or not caring about themselves. like jungkook for example.

but within the context of them knowing i am a disabled person, even the little jabs have that underlying ableism.

the examples are just stuff that has been said to me but i've seen wayyyy more ableism from armys in random comment sections, such as dragging other idols by saying they look like they have down syndrome.

if i were less secure, all these comments probably would have ruined my mood. but not everyone is like me and there are many disabled people who do feel hurt by these sayings. and it's so normalized, especially with fandoms and particularly armys, to be casually ableist and no one says anything because disabled people being upset with ableism is seen as being dramatic or "you're just mad because you don't work while bts are multimillionaires." when you really think about it, their obsession with working hard and "hustling" is quite dystopian.

how does anyone enjoy hearing this?

genuinely i don't know how i used to watch this and think it's good (i'm ex army)

i think more people should talk about how lacking btmess are in vocals because armys act like they're the best vocalists to walk the earth.. whole time this is what they sound like. the whole group has either terrible or mid singing.

btw this isn't edited (ik armpits will come out of the sewers to say it is). it comes from the tonight show w/jimmy fallon back in 2021.

taehyung (staenk) in particular doesn't have a good tone here. jin sounds as aggravating as usual. jimin in the background is just laughable. overall it's just a mess.

and this song is in too high of a register for them. they ended up shrieking their notes out like pained birds.

armys being misogynistic again

context: the first image is a tweet from an aespa stan. the video shows the group's new mv but the audio is actually hooligan, so the og post is a bts drag. all the other pics are armys' reactions.

there were a lot more comments than this (dozens) but i kept the screenshots to a minimum because so many of them were repetitive/said the same things. i even added the tweet with the rap monster quote "if you hate something too much, then you kind of like it" because i just knew armys would use it every time someone drags bts or their music.

i am sick of the misogyny of this fandom. it honestly makes me sick because the body shaming and insults are so constant and aren't even relevant to the original fan war. someone dragged hooligan, and armys first response is to body shame members of aespa (not to mention literally every other gg ever). like if you want to engage in fan wars that bad, why not go for the music? or better yet, just ignore it. resorting to misogynistic bullying because someone said hooligan is bad is so, so strange.

also, even though i'm directly mentioning aespa here, pls don't drag or glaze them. this is abt armys (ik the mods need to say this all the time so i'll add it here as well).
