Thank you to the person who suggested the local garage just over the road , the old fella was very helpful and showed me it was potentially a lack of fuel issue too. only thing is now is that i still need a jumpstart now it’s been refuelled.
if anyone can provide a jumpstart and actually knows what to do i have a bit of cash i could give

Hi i’m a 20 year old student in the city centre and i believe my car has a dead battery , i’ve bought a jump kit but can’t get it to start, it’s a 2008 ford fiesta. i don’t know if im doing something wrong or what but if anyone has anyadvice or knows anyone who would be willing to lend a hand as im really struggling financially. the car is parked by james street vaults pub for reference if that means you can help. thank you
update: car was out of fuel plus dead battery , have fuel now just need a jumpstart from another car and someone who knows how to do it ideally :) thank you all again , today’s been stressful but i’m getting somewhere!
final update: thank you u/FloppySausageRoll , they provided a jumpstart and the car is alive !!! thank you to all who have helped it’s been a stressful 7 hours but we got there!!
