Hello my most magnificent of minions! For this week’s review we have a new release on Montu, N!CE Durban Kush, distributed by Mamedica.

Priced at £65 & listed as a hybrid with a THC content of 26%, Durban Kush has a pinene, myrcene & caryophyllene terpene profile.

Out of the bag this mama was impressed by the quality of the flower, this looked lovely & had a very sweet pine scent, with a hint of spice underneath. The buds had some stickiness to them too.

I was using my Limelight Frolic & globe matrix v2 bubbler.

On session at 175-195 this was very heavily pine flavoured, smooth, a little sweet & I got gas & spice on the exhale.

On demand 210-240 gave a much stronger sweet pine flavour, this was very smooth, I got the spice & gas on the exhale again.

I have found Durban Kush to be true to its N!CE label, this has been a really nice strain for use from midmorning onwards. This has been great on mood for me, I noticed a reduction in anxiety, while also feeling uplifted. This also gave me a decent level of pain relief. I will also note that this one had a nice effect in terms of arousal too, it definitely was one that enhances the senses for me.

Hello my majestic minions! For this week’s review your Mama Liz is ever so pleased to be able to say she finally got her hands on some Northern Lights, this one is from Upstate.

Available for £75 on Montu, with a THC content of 34%, Northern Lights is listed as an indica with a caryophyllene, myrcene, limonenene, linalool & humelene terpene profile.

Upon arrival this was very dry, but still smelt incredible. This was spicy, woody, hopsy & rich smelling. Very decently sized buds too.

I was using my limelight frolic & globe matrix v2 bubbler.

At 175-195 on session this had an earthy, woody flavour, with an edge of sweet & spice to it. On the exhale I got pepper.

On demand 210-240 this was extremely peppery on the exhale, it made my nose tickle.

Northern Lights has been a great strain for evening for me, I used to seek out this strain whenever I visited Amsterdam in my youth. It’s helped to relax me physically & mentally, stimulated my appetite & helped me with sleep. I would say pain relief is where this strain really shone for me, I used it before sex one evening & the pain was barely noticeable during/after, more of a mild discomfort as opposed to searing agony.

Ultimately too many of us women are feeling stigma & shame about our cannabis use, simply because of fears of other people’s perceptions.

This is further compounded by what seems to be a lack of education & knowledge about medical cannabis, by services such as the NHS, police, schools & social care.

However, the results were not all doom & gloom. So many women spoke of how cannabis had been life-changing, even life-saving for them. Truthfully I am so happy for all of those women, their stories were all too familiar to me. Failed by conventional medicine, left to suffer needlessly, there are too many of us. I am just grateful we found medical cannabis 💚

Hello my magnificent minions! For this week’s review your Mama Liz is embracing the insanity of the summer holidays with Crazy Runtz by Upstate.

Available on Montu for £69, this is a sativa hybrid with a THC content of 28% & a Caryophyllene, Limonene, Linalool, Farnesene & Myrcene terpene profile.

Out of the bag this was very dry but gained moisture after a couple of weeks with a boveda. Smallish mid sized buds, to be expected with Runtz in the name. Scent wise I found it to have a floral dominant scent, but I picked up on some woody, hopsy, spice in there too.

I was using my limelight frolic & globe matrix v2 bubbler.

On session 175-195 this was floral & perfume on the inhale, gas, pepper & spice on the exhale. I did pick up a slight fruitiness too, I’d say it was similar to a berry taste.

On demand 210-240 the same in terms of flavour, just more intense.

This has been a great morning & afternoon strain for me, I’ve even used it for an evening out too. I found Crazy Runtz to be mentally & physically relaxing, good as a pain relief & I also noticed a more regulated heart rate.

Hello my magical minions! For this week’s review your Mama Liz has finally caved & gotten her first flower by Green Karat, Loud Cake.

This week’s review will look a little different as I chose Loud Cake as my travel pick, for my week away in Greece, so did not have my regular set up.

Available on Montu for £85, listed as an indica hybrid, Loud Cake has a limonene, caryophyllene, linalool & myrcene terpene profile.

First of all this impressed from the second I opened the bag, Loud Cake was loud indeed. I could smell it from a good couple of feet away, with the bag only slightly opened. A really rich & complex scent.

Sight wise, this was beautiful. Lots of colour to the buds. Some stickiness too.

I was using my limelight frolic, vices oz JoyStik & a couple of mini glass pieces.

This flower had tons of flavour, I got a lot of sweet spice & pepper, a hint of citrus. A lot of creaminess, with a hint of something that I couldn’t place, it was definitely a sweeter strain, I can see why they put cake in the name.

Effect wise this was excellent on pain for me. I was using it after afternoons out at the beach & it really eased my aches. It soothed my anxiety around flying. It also helped to regulate my heart rate in the heat.

I also found Loud Cake was very effective as a sexual aid. I compared it against Red Velvet & found it to have much the same effects on me. Basically a more intense orgasm, with less pain afterwards. Both good things to this mama.

It was also fantastic on sleep.

As much as I hate to admit it, Loud Cake is worth the £85 price point.

Hello my majestic minions! For this week’s review your Mama Liz has a new release by Upstate, Hawaiian Marker.

Available for £69 on Montu, Hawaiian Marker is a sativa-hybrid with a THC content of 28% & a caryophyllene, limonene, humelene, farnesene & pinene terpene profile.

Visually this strain looked great, lots of colour & large dense buds, with a slightly sticky texture. Scent wise I got orange/citrus, hops, spice & a hint of pine.

I was using my limelight frolic & a variety of bubblers.

On session 175-195 this gave orange notes, slightly bitter with a hint of spice.

On demand 210-240 this had a very smooth vapour, with a stronger orange flavour, leading into gassy. The Permanent Marker heritage really came through at the higher temperatures.

Overall I have found Hawaiian Marker to be a great wakey vapey strain. It offers great pain relief, a decent energy & mood boost, plus the effects were noticeably long lasting.

Have a super Sunday 💚

After over a week of enjoying her time with the Vices Oz JoyStik your Mama Liz is finally ready to give her verdict on the device.

This was my first time experiencing a manual DHV & I was very impressed. If I had tried one in my earlier days on medical cannabis I would have been absolutely blown away by how good the effects were, as it is, the JoyStik is a great addition to my collection of DHVs & one that I am using daily.

The JoyStik was very easy to set up & use. It is as simple as loading your meds & heating. I have been using a rather cool raygun torch lighter, but there are multiple options for heating available that would be compatible.

I was concerned that I would not be dexterous enough to manage the spinning & heating but it turned out to be much easier than I imagined.

What I really liked was that I have the option of changing the rubber sleeves, so now mine is bright pink but I can swap according to my mood & outfit.

What I loved was the no need for charging. As long as you have a lighter with gas, you are you are good to go anywhere with this & not worry about the battery running out. I can see this being very useful for beach & woods days.

Flavour wise it is good on the first few pulls, but does drop off after that if I compare it to the Frolic (a bit like comparing a shark to an elephant though, totally different DHVs)

Cleaning is super easy too. Just disassemble & soak in iso, make sure to allow plenty of drying time!

Overall I am really happy with the JoyStik, it’s sturdy, well-made, lightweight & stylish, plus packs a punch similar to a pipe. I am very pleased that I took the chance & purchased one 💚

Good morning my marvellous minions! It’s Friday & you know what that means, review day! This week we have Tropical Blues by Upstate.

Available on Montu for £65 this has a terpene profile of caryophyllene, pinene & terpinolene. It is listed as a sativa hybrid with a thc content of 26%.

Out of the bag this was some biiiig buds. They were a pale frosted green, with a spicy, piney scent.

I was using my Limelight Frolic & a variety of glass.

175-195 this is reminiscent of a tropical fruit juice in terms of taste, light & fruity.

210-240 now if you follow my instagram you will know of Fruit of the Day where I use fruit in the neck of Old Faithful, well when I added lemon to Tropical Blues, it was a capri-sun flavour, perfect for hot days. It did move into a more spicy, peppery profile at the 230-240 range.

Tropical Blues has been a great value afternoon medication for me. I found it good on pain & mood, it was not a strain that gave me pep or energy though, so it was not a wake & vape strain for me.

Good morning my magnificent minions! For this Friday’s review your Mama Liz has Well Crafted Kush by Enua.

Up on Montu at £65 Well Crafted Kush is listed as an Indica hybrid with a 27% THC content & a myrcene, limonene, terpinolene terpene profile.

Out of the bag this was very strong scented, herbal, minty, but also some spice & citrus. The buds were large & dense & slightly sticky.

I was using my limelight frolic & globe matrix v2 bubbler.

175-195 this was one that made my tastebuds tingle, a delicious vapour leaning towards herbal & mint notes.

210-240 this saw the flavour intensify. Again with the herbal & mint notes, but spice came through too.

This strain was incredibly relaxing both physically & mentally, it also offered good pain relief, I tested it for the first time during a pelvic adhesions flare & felt quick relief. The flavour of the Well Crafted Kush is what really made it moreish for me, I’ve almost finished the 10g already.

Good morning my majestic minions! For this Monday’s review your Mama Liz has this explosive delight, La Bomba by Curo.

Available on Montu for only £55 La Bomba is listed as 25% THC, with a limonene, myrcene, caryophyllene, linalool & humelene terpene profile. This is an indica hybrid with Wedding Cake & Jet Fuel Gelato in the heritage.

This flower had tons of scent; rich, spicy, musky & of course citrus. The buds were a beautiful colour, sticky & well sized.

I was using my limelight frolic & globe matrix v2 bubbler.

175-195 this was a “Wow!” moment. Incredible flavour, citrus & spice & all things nice. There was a hint of Jet Fuel present too.

210-240 this really saw the Jet Fuel flavour pop, but I again got the sweet & spice too, with a creamy & smooth vapour.

This was my first time trying a Curo product & I got it on the recommendation from several of you, so thank you so much! This was excellent on pain, I was using it during my period & it got my cramps down to a 3/10 on the pain scale. I was a 7, borderline 8/10 prior to La Bomba.

Good morning my munificent minions! For this Friday’s review your Mama Liz has Pink Lilac by Green Joy.

This is available for £75 on Montu & listed as 32% THC with a Terpinolene, Beta-Myrcene & Beta-Ocimene terpene profile.

Out of the bag these were beautiful, large, spongy, sticky, stinky buds. The Terpinolene is the dominant scent but there is a sweet spice underneath.

I was using my Limelight Frolic & Globe Matrix v2 bubbler.

On session 175-195 this had so much flavour, heavily dominated by the Terpinolene. This was physically & mentally relaxing, yet uplifting at the same time. I’d felt tense, tired, but after a bowl of Pink Lilac I felt relaxed & refreshed.

On demand 210-240 this was again a flavour dominated by the Terpinolene taste. This actually hit me quite hard & I had to take a minute post bubbler.

I’ve very much been enjoying Pink Lilac over the past week or so, it’s tasty, relaxing, uplifting & effective as pain relief. I would note that I did notice a racy heart type feeling, but I was struggling with the heatwave too, which set off my dysautonomic dysfunction issues, so it could have been that. I would say that it hasn’t been as noticeable in the cooler weather.

Good morning my magical minions! For this Monday’s review your Mama Liz is delighted to be able to once again share her thoughts on Mutant Tyre Fire by Next Friday. I have missed this strain immensely!

Available on Montu for £80 MTF is listed as 30% THC & with a farnesene, myrcene, linalool & caryophyllene terpene profile.

The flower was beautiful out of the bag, large, dense & sticky buds with a rich hopsy, spicy, woodsy scent profile to it.

I was using my limelight frolic & globe matrix v2 bubbler.

175-195 this produced a very flavourful vapour, hopsy & woodsy but with a note of burnt rubber.

210-240 again this was hopsy, woodsy, but the rubber taste was much more noticeable, not unpleasant though.

Mutant Tyre Fire is one of my all time favourite strains. I use it throughout the day to ease my pain & it also helps to regulate my heart rate & blood pressure. I find it excellent as a wakey vapey mix with Alaskan Thunder for high pain days when I still want to be active, it’s also excellent on its own as an afternoon & evening strain.

Good morning my magnificent minions! For this Friday’s review your Mama Liz has this deliciously, decadent treat for you, Red Velvet by Mamedica.

Available on Montu for £75 & listed as an Indica hybrid, Red Velvet has a myrcene, limonene & carophyllene terpene profile & a THC percentage of 28%

As this is a strain I’ve had a few times now, this review will look a little different than normal.

Red Velvet looks & smells gorgeous! It has a rich, sweet, spicy complex smell to the buds & the buds were all a nice size & well trimmed etc

Flavour-wise I find Red Velvet to taste very similar to the cake it is named for, sweet but with a slightly tart, crisp edge to it, the spice is noticeable too, but it’s more of sweet profile than peppery.

Effects-wise I love Red Velvet for three reasons:

Pain relief, this is a fast acting analgesic that really helps reduce my pelvic pain massively.

Sleep, I will easily get at least four hours without waking after Red Velvet, often I’m awake every 1-2 hours.

Sex, this is my main reason for having Red Velvet on repeat. Firstly it helps to reduce my pain before, during & after intimacy, secondly it helps to relax me mentally, thirdly I have never experienced such intense orgasms as the ones I have had while using Red Velvet.

Overall this mama highly recommends Red Velvet, it’s had consistent effects each time I’ve used it & is good value at £7.50 per gram.

Out of the bag this looked & smelled incredible! Tons of colour throughout the buds & pinene was the dominant smell for me.

I was using my Limelight Frolic & Globe Matrix v2 bubbler.

On session 175-195 this was incredibly flavourful, with layers of taste than ran through spice, pepper, woodiness & pine. I found this a particularly delicious strain.

On demand 210-240 that flavour profile really pops! As above, but intensified.

I’m unsure about other patients but I find hybrids can be a little unpredictable in terms of the sedative effect, Mellowz is definitely an after 3pm strain for me as it was so mentally & physically relaxing. It made this mama about as mellow as she ever gets.

Good morning my marvellous minions! For this Friday’s flower review your Mama Liz has Citrus Slap by Upstate.

Available on Montu for £75 this is listed as having a limonene, myrcene & humelene terpene profile, as well as a THC % of 33%.

Out of the bag this had a very muted smell, but the citrus note was present. There was a variety of nicely sized buds too.

I was using my Limelight Frolic & Globe Matrix v2 bubbler.

On session 175-195 this gave a crisp, light vapour that tasted & smelled of grapefruit.

On demand 210-240 this gave a very powerful taste of grapefruit, juicy, crisp, a really tasty vapour.

Citrus Slap really does slap! It’s been energising without inducing anxiety, very uplifting mood-wise, as well as being effective on pain, especially muscle pain.

Mama Liz has been loving Citrus Slap as her wake & vape these past few weeks, tastes like breakfast & it was the slap I needed last week to get back in the pool too.

After owning the Zenco Duo for almost two weeks Mama Liz now feels able to give her opinion on this very stylish DHV.

This was a device I’d been considering for some time, but after seeing one at the Chillin Rooms pop-up shop I knew I had to have one, so I asked my family for it as my birthday present.

Initially I was unsure if this would be a DHV I’d get frequent use of, or if it would be more of an occasion type DHV, but I can safely say that the gorgeous appearance of this product has given it a permanent home on my desk. It does not look out of place in a home setting at all.

The ease of use is also a massive positive for the Zenco Duo, it is as simple as loading the bowl with the medication of your choice, tap a button & you’re good to go. The ease of cycling through the temperature settings should be noted too.

The Zenco Duo can be used with flower, carts, concentrates & hash. So far I have tried flower & concentrates & been impressed by both the smoothness & the flavour of the vapour, especially with concentrates. I would note that even on the lowest setting the AVB will look close to ash, when I ran flower on the higher settings I did get a white ash afterwards.

Maintaining the Zenco Duo has been easy enough too, the glass & silicon are dishwasher safe. I would say the glass can get dirty fairly quickly, but that will depend on how frequently you’re using it.

Overall this mama loves her new Zenco Duo, what I thought would be a gimmick turned out to be one of the easiest ways I’ve medicated. I got mine from the link below 💚

Good morning minions! For this week’s Monday review Mama Liz has chosen Pink Punch by Green Joy.

Available for £70 on Montu, Pink Punch is listed as having a D-limonene, beta-caryophyllene & linalool terpene profile. It’s also an indica dominant strain.

Out of the bag this was gorgeous! The buds were a variety of sizes, lots of colour to them & stickiness too. Scent wise I was hit with a rich, complex, layered aroma. Spicy & sweet.

I was using a variety of DHVs with this strain, Airizer Solo II, Frolic (plus assorted glass) & my new Zenco Duo but we’ll stick with the normal format of Frolic & Globe Matrix v2.

On session 175-195 Pink Punch tasted as complex as it smelled. The vapour was sweet, yet spicy, crisp & with light woody notes. Very smooth & gave me a physically relaxing effect from the first few minutes.

210-240 this was again a complex taste profile, sweet, spicy, crisp, some woody notes. Just a lot of flavour. Very hard hitting behind the eyes initially.

Pink Punch is definitely a knockout for Mama Liz, this strain has been marvellous as an evening medication. It provided strong pain relief & very good sleep too. It also worked as an appetite stimulant.
