About to start Uni (so anxious)

Hey people, I guess I just need somewhere to get this off my chest. I'm about to start a paramedic degree in 4 weeks time. I am so scared. I'm 24 and have worked in a kitchen/waitress since I was 16.

It's going to be a huge change. I'm lucky enough to be able to live from home (40 minutes each way). I currently haven't stopped crying today out of pure anxiety. I'm having waves of positivity and excitement, then pure anxiety. My belly is in knots. I was due to start last year but my Grandad passed right before I was going to start. I've wanted this for so long, but now that it is here, I'm having all these thoughts and second-guessing it all. Before starting my current job (5 years ago) I was so quiet and shy. This job however has made me so much more confident. I'm a completely different person. But this anxiety is really affecting me right now. Does anyone here have any advice/experienced this before going to uni? I'm just telling myself to get through the first week and see how it goes!

EMT route or Uni?

Hi all! I'm looking for some advice. I (24f) am due to start UWE in september for Paramedicine. However, I am having second thoughts. I am reading a lot of negativity about job prospects in the UK. For example, I live in Wales and (as you are probably aware) currently there are no jobs for paramedics. Granted things can change in three years, but I just don't know what to do. I'd really appreciate some insight/advice from those who are experienced. I understand that trainee EMT roles are competitive. I am prepared for that. Thankyou!

Skin Redness

Hello, I (F23) have has this reddening patch of skin on my lower right leg. It feels slightly rough and raised and a little sore but nothing major pain wise. It feels warm to the touch. I woke up with it yesterday morning (36 hours ago). I believe it is caused by an insect bite as I have another on my leg (that looks like a "normal" flea bite). I've never had a reaction like this from bites before. Do you think I should see a pharmacist or GP? Could it resolve by itself? I'll attach a photo below, any advice will be much appreciated...thankyou! This photo is now...yesterday morning it was a lot paler.
