I’ve been playing a few years in a division E Coed league, this year is my first year pitching, I wear a mask a chest protector and forearm guards ( I got a line drive to the forearm and thankfully it was just a bruise so now I wear protection there. As soon as I release the ball I take a few steps back but I wonder if anyone has any other advice for me. The forearm one rattled me in the moment but I’m good now first game is tonight, I never seen a ball hit some in all my seasons until it happened to me😅
