Pursue medical school?

I promise this is not a troll post. I’m 33 years old and married with a new baby. I currently work in the biotech space and all in compensation, I make about $235,000 plus decent equity and together with my wife and I we are at about $375,000 HHI. I’ve always wanted to go to medical school and become a physician and working in corporate the past few years with instability and always working to make shareholders richer, that feeling has never been stronger. Would it be insane to leave a relatively decent path to drop everything, do a post bac program, do all the requirements and try to pursue a career in medicine?

Floors driving me insane

Bought a home recently which had pretty newly installed (within last 2 years) Mohawk revwood floors. Issue is, the squeaking is literally driving me insane. There are squeaks is almost every area (kitchen, hallway, hallway to living room, dining room). Is this the material of Mohawk or the installation issue? I didn’t even notice during walkthroughs but now I’ve been here for a week and it’s ridiculous and I’m very mad about it. Any advice on how I can fix this?

Help deciding front door paint color

Looking to paint our front door outside black (or other suggestions given we have the original cream siding with black shutters) with matte black handles and inside some sort of off white or greige. Inside out walls are white dove and flooring is light oak. Any recommendations on colors specially for the inside? Was going between pale oak and sea form but one to suggestions as I can’t figure out what would look good without being too stark white

Gross or take home?

I’ve heard people say the rule of thumb is not to exceed 28% of your gross monthly income on PITI. Is that still true in this market? Our mortgage payment is roughly 20% of our monthly NET pay m meaning after 401k, healthcare and taxes from the paycheck or roughly 13% of our gross monthly income. Is this ok or should we assess via a different metric?

Career crisis

I’ve worked in pharma marketing for the past few years, launched products, in the US and Globally at 2 top 10 Pharma co’s. Now I’m at a mid sized biotech also doing product marketing for a first in class product. On paper, I think I’ve built an ok resume but I’ve never for the last 10 years ever felt fulfilled in this industry or job and it’s taking a toll on my mental health and identity. And now I feel completely lost professionally. I don’t know what to do career wise especially in this economy or what to pivot to even if I could. I think I like marketing but not in healthcare or pharma at all. I’m thankful for the opportunities this industry has provided but I can’t keep doing the same thing and just miserably getting through my day. Has anyone in pharma or biotech marketing successfully pivoted to something else?
