does anyone have any idea what is covering the walls in the main hall? my guess is it looks like painted leather? it also looks to be buckling and coming off the walls a bit.

we are watching the Miss Marple series, (this was all in season1) so far Highclere Castle made an appearance as did Mrs Patmore and Mary’s last husband!
