Hi all,

With gas becoming unaffordable, I’m looking to invest in bike locks so I can start to use my bike more. I’ve always avoided biking bc I bought a new bike (a Salsa) and am worried about someone stealing it. I currently have a chain lock but want to add another lock into my system. I would really only be using my bike to go get groceries or go out to eat. It wouldn’t be outside by itself for longer than 2-3 hours at a time. Any U lock brand recommendations under $50 ?

Additionally, is there anything I should be doing to the bike itself to keep parts from getting stolen? I don’t know much about bikes… So I apologize for the possibly dumb questions. Would love insight from the folks who have experience, thank you!
