Assuming you believe
If 1 - .999... = ε ≠ 0
Then what is 1 + ε? Is it the same as 1.000...? Is that different from 1?

So I love the qwen open models, and even though I'm a little sore about how the free tier got cut off, I decided to bite the bullet and buy a token plan. Jeez, what a pain in the *ss it's been. I was not able to access the plan, getting 403 Access Denied for several hours despite the plan details saying it was active. Went to the support chat and it's just some very weak AI that repeatedly gives me the same instructions despite being told over and over that I've already tried all of these things. So, I had to file a ticket. I first get forwarded by the AI to *the wrong ticketing system*. Then I file a ticket directly myself and find out my payment details were flagged as suspicious and I need to verify my identity to protect the account... AFTER they've already charged the account. Okay fine, I click the link they give to verify my identity, and it won't load because... I need to verify my identity first. 🫠 I tell them *twice* the link isn't working, and they finally send me another link that's just to the documentation. Fine, I dig up the details to find the identity verification, and I find that it's needed for running instances in mainland China. Also it's in a completely different domain. The whole thing feels like a bunch of poorly designed systems cobbled together. I tell them I have no interest in running anything in China and I was only doing this with the understanding that the models were being served in SG and US. Doesn't matter. The friction at this point is just too much and I ask them to just refund my purchase, and another labyrinthine journey begins. I provide the invoice information to them *three* times and then finally they tell me that they can only refund if I respond in a very particular format that looks almost like JSON... I mean, they literally took the information I provided, put it in the format, and then asked me to copy paste it back them before they would process the refund.
I still appreciate the fantastic open models and I've even made contributions to the qwen-code cli, but this was a 0/10 would not recommend.

What a pain in the ass. This cli gets less usable with every new version.
