What should I do?
I found this plant on the side walk during nyc pride weekend(last weekend of June). It seemed like someone had moved out and couldn’t bring this tree and a money tree with them. So I took them. However, I don’t have the best green thumb. Originally i didn’t know the tree couldn’t handle direct sunlight, and had left it outside for a day… a really sunny day, mainly bog how droopy I was looking. I had left in my garage and would just leave my garage door open for an hour or two to let some sunlight in. Now it’s in my room by window and I’m not so sure how to help her. (The first two pictures are from the day I got them, and the last two are them currently) there’s definitely a lot of new growth especially from the money tree, the dracaena has 6 new leaves and 6 more incoming new growths as well as maybe a new branch coming in on the side of another branch/stem. I don’t have a specific watering schedule. I typically just check the soil w my fingers to see if the top 2 inches of soil is dry and give them maybe a cup or two of water. The money tree gets significantly less water. The first day I got them I gave them a quick shower tho.
