What should my realistic expectations be?
My nose looks okay from a distance, but underneath it is pretty deformed. It's getting worse as I age (mid 40s.)
I am scheduled for a septo/rhino, and I'm trying to anticipate what is realistic. I'm not expecting perfection. I have extremely thin skin. I don't want to look like a different person.
Has anyone dealt with a curvature of the nostril cartilage like mine? My doctor said he's going to score it to force it to change shape.
He's also removing my dorsal hump, osteotomy to narrow bridge and he said he will add a stitch to narrow the tip slightly. He said no grafts are needed (besides the cartilage from my actual septum.) So no ear, rib or cadaver.
Am I missing any red flags or concerns? He spent a lot of time with me and made me feel comfortable.
