What's eating my strawberries

Can anybody tell me what's eating my strawberries? This was a full sized ripening fruit last night, but I checked this morning and it's pretty much gone. I've noticed this one other time with another one of the fruits. I've also noticed a couple of the leaves have been nibbled on. This is a new set up for me as I previously grew them in hanging pots, but I never had this problem with those. These are in an elevated planter and I've sprinkled diatomaceous earth around the plants, probably not enough since it was my first time using it. Any help is welcome!
