Specific solutions to telephone landline problem

Hey folks, I started a business about 2-3 years ago, my mobile number is the number for the business on Website, Google etc.

Now we have a few employees on board and may soon have a receptionist/ admin person available at a desk 24-7.

Ideally then we would have a central number as first point of contact for the company.

What is the cheapest and best way to go about this? Any new number would ideally be a landline number and have the capability to transfer calls to us on mobile.

Alternatively there are calls handling services - might they represent better value/convenience?

Many thanks

Employee liability insurance - quotes, assistance, any tips welcome for a first timer

Hi folks, ive belatedly realised that I need to get this liability insurance sorted out, we have 2-3 employees. Is it just a matter of going to the usual comparison type websites or do you have better tips about who to approach for quotes etc?

Many thanks!

Harissa chicken, rice and asparagus (one-pot)

One pot, loosely following the below:

One-Pot Harissa Chicken Thigh and Rice

Smoky, spicy harissa chicken thighs braised with rice, all in one pan

INGREDIENTS

• 700 g boneless skinless chicken thighs

• 44 1/3 ml rose harissa paste

• 14 3/4 ml olive oil

• 1 medium onion, diced

• 3 garlic cloves, minced

• 300 g basmati rice, rinsed

• 600 ml chicken stock

• 200 g tinned chopped tomatoes

• 4.9 ml ground cumin

• 4.9 ml salt

• 1 lemon, juiced

• 29.6 ml fresh coriander, chopped

STEPS

  1. Toss 700 g boneless skinless chicken thighs with 2 tbsp of the 44 1/3 ml rose harissa paste and a pinch of 4.9 ml salt. Set aside for at least 15 minutes, or up to overnight in the fridge. ⏱ 15m

  2. Heat 14 3/4 ml olive oil in a large lidded pan or skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the marinated chicken thighs for 2-3 minutes per side until browned but not cooked through. Remove and set aside. ⏱ 5m

  3. In the same pan, add 1 medium onion, diced and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Add 3 garlic cloves, minced and 4.9 ml ground cumin, cooking for another minute until fragrant. ⏱ 6m

  4. Stir in 300 g basmati rice, rinsed and the remaining 1 tbsp 44 1/3 ml rose harissa paste, coating the rice in the spiced oil for 1 minute.

  5. Pour in 600 ml chicken stock and 200 g tinned chopped tomatoes, then stir in the remaining 4.9 ml salt. Nestle the chicken thighs back into the pan, bring to a simmer, then cover and reduce heat to low. ⏱ 20m

  6. Remove from heat and let stand, covered, for 5 minutes to finish steaming. ⏱ 5m

  7. Squeeze over 1 lemon, juiced and scatter with 29.6 ml fresh coriander, chopped before serving.

NOTES

Adjust harissa quantity to taste — rose harissa is milder, while rougher artisanal harissa can be quite hot. Works well batch-cooked and frozen in portions; let cool fully before freezing.
