Companions that feel like they should be a different class
Are there any companions that just feel better to you when they’re respecced into a completely different class?
I’m currently playing with Jaheira respecced as a Gloom Stalker Ranger multiclassed into a Swashbuckler Rogue and a couple levels of Fighter and it honestly just feels so much more fitting for her personality than being a Druid. To me Halsin gives off definite Druid energy but Jaheira feels more like a Fighter/Ranger personality who also knows how to use magic to her advantage and has no compunctions picking locks or stealing if she has to (although I imagine she would be a lot more moral about stealing than the Guild).
(This isn’t about which class is best from a practicality standpoint - simply what feels right from a personality/lore perspective.)
