i joined this sub for discussion about roblox webseries content(originally because i was too paranoid to join the roblox webseries discord, but things have changed and i just stayed in the sub anyway)and funny posts and whatever.

i KNOW this is reddit and i understand what reddit is like, and i also know the demographic Roblox webseries attract whether unintenrional or not, but if everyone else can speak their opinions freely saying whatevee the hell they want tthen so can i.

it is getting very frustrating and agitating opening reddit seeing a bunch of ihasafacelulz bullshit getting flung around all over my feed, when it does NOT matter THAT MUCH. it is literally just content you can consume created by a random person online, and there is billions of other things you could enjoy instead if it's that much of an issue. No one is telling you you have to harass Tina or do shit out of spite. I really don't think it should matter if you respect the creators or not. if you don't, that's fine there's no need to be so vocal and blatantly disrespect people. if you do, that's fine as well, but there's no need to glaze when people are going to ignore it. i just wish that at the very least it wouldn't clog the main subreddit and i didn't have to see people clashing all the time while i feel no one is doing enough to tame the issue. I feel moderation is very, very lacking. opinions should not get in the way of you doing your job as a moderator(never been one myself, so what do I know, just feel like it's common sense...). okay it's practically four In the morning bye

hello, subreddit. i don't make posts often but i am a lurker and the response i've seen to literally just the announcement has been mindblowing, bordering on harassment. it's reminding me of what happened with spungus and cdarchive. i'd like to remind people of a few things. keep in mind i am NOT on the facelulz team, this is again just what i've seen and would like to relay. sorry if this comes off as rude at any points.

1. it is not an entire rewrite, the lore will be almost exactly the same, all they are doing is literally just changing the medium of storytelling. roblox was just used to tell the story(and for the reboot, allegedly still will be for at the very least the first couple of videos). if you're upset at their own decisions for their own series to move away from a game that is rapidly digging its own grave and tarnishing it's reputation every update you were never an actual fan to begin with. you have no entitlement to dictate or make demands on their own decisions. i admit i am upset as well but for seperate reasons, like there should've been at least a heads up and not something sudden, but whatever, i'm excited regardless. next bulletpoint.
2. the ihasafacelulz and seildirectory args are still connected. self explanatory.
3. you are still getting your plushies. they already worked that out. see the next bulletpoint.
4. tina said that aubree and fern will not be getting insane redesigns, and that she will most likely keep most design motifs/traits(aubree with bunnies, ann with apples/raggedy ann dolls, bone with the whole devil thing, etc)of all the characters regardless. also, niko and the whole mythbuster group are still staying part of the story. however meatwad i think is the only character getting removed? unsure of that part.
5. the tone of the series will be almost exactly the same, if not just slightly more intense.
6. there is a VERY clear difference between "constructive criticism" and "destructive criticism." please keep that in mind. pointing out flaws you are unhappy with and also giving suggestions on these issues you see is constructive criticism. saying you hate the project entirely and wish they should outright cancel it because of their own choices and that the facelulz team should die is destructive criticism. WHICH GOES AGAINST THE FIRST COUPLE RULES OF THE SUBREDDIT TO BE POSTING. if you have nothing nice to say, do not post it. that is literally common sense.

that should be all. anything more will probably be added in comments. i hope this helps. please do not harrass anyone. the facelulz team is quite literally a bunch of kids with hobbies, just like me or you, and they may handle things strangely and unprofessionally. from what i've heard jx1's creator deactivated their twitter account because of this stuff.
