Metformin extended release in Germany?

Both my endocrinologist and my gynecologist only prescribe regular metformin. I asked about extended release and my gynecologist said there is none. I asked about "Siofor XR" but my gynecologist said this isnt the same as regular metformin

Looking for positive experience on spiro for hair loss with minimal side effects

I was 11 years on qlaira birth control and while i didn't have any bad side effects, it didnt help for my symptoms.

While i do have some acne and hirsutism, my biggest concern is my greasy skin on my whole body and thinning hair.

I tried metformin both IR and ER but couldnt go past 500mg because of my blood sugar dropping too much and it causing too much anxiety and nausea

Anyone on Drovelis/Nextstellis birth control?

Im looking for people who were or are currently on Drovelis/Nextstellis (Drospirenon/Estetrol).

I used to be on Qlaira for 10 years and it helped to lower my testosterone levels into normal range and got rid of my "pearls of strings" follicles but it made no real difference on my acne, oily skin and mild hirsutism. I also used to have very thick curly hair but looking back at photos, it started to thin after a couple years on birth control with constant shedding.

Im too scared of trying birth control with ethinylestradiol, thats why im looking to try Drovelis/nextstellis.

Is this birth control helping anyone for their acne/oily skin/hair loss/hirsutism?

My symptoms: missed periods, high testosterone, acne on face and back, oily skin, string of pearls follicles on ovaries. Very light hirsutism

I took qlaira (dienogest+estradiol valerat) for 10 years.

It helped me getting my testosterone into normal range and my follicles on ovaries went away. Acne on my back got less but a little remained. Acne on face stayed the same, oiliness on whole body stayed the same.

During all these years my hair that was once very thick und curly became very thin and limp. Im always losing a lot of hair in the shower. My moms hair has been very thick during all her life and even now while being 55 and in menopause.

I quit birth control 1 year ago. Periods returned after 4 months. The first 3 months they came regulary each 4 weeks but then it stretched to 6 weeks. Last month they came back to 4 weeks but they were very light this time. My back acne returned after around 3 months off birth controll but over time it became less. Its more than on birth control. Slight more hirsutism. No difference in hair. Im still shedding the same as on birth control.

I tested my hormone levels 6 months off birth control and my testosterone was slightly out the normal range. I will test my hormones this month again but tbh, i think they will probably be high again.

My doctor told me that my birth control is considered a lighter one, compared to others. Probably because of the estradiol valerat that is supposed to be bioidentical and not that strong as ethinylestradiol in most birth controls.

Im thinking about trying another birth control with ethinylestradiol. I also thought about spironolactone.

But im also scared of possible higher risk of dvt when i try a stronger birth control
