A while back I added a little bit of Talk to Animals stuff for Truck - now I’m adding conversation about him, and you can double down on your lie that you totally can’t talk to animals! First in awkward Non Street with a little autistic narration, I second in Super Neurotypical Street. (A lie mixed in with truths!)

Heya, looking for some movie recs to watch with my partner. We bonded over horror movie nights and haven't had the chance to have a good one in a while.
We really enjoyed Fresh and I'd love to be able to find something else in that vein, or about cannibalism, but everything that's coming up is closer to Cannibal Holocaust or the stereotypical redneck cannibal family in the woods.
Is there anything else good that isn't just offensive stereotypes?
We like a pretty wide range of stuff and are comfy with extreme horror, but real animal harm is a Never Again Holy Fucking Shit one for us and we tend to get a little impatient with stuff if it's too much of a slow burn. The only thing we've tapped out of was Skinamarink because it had such a slow beginning and imdb had people saying it stayed slow.

Cut out a couple lines to keep this from going too long - she goes through the ingredient rundown, and when you say you’re unemployed, she asks what you do with your time! I’m putting a metric shedload of options for that, based off things I’ve done when I was un- or underemployed.
(The filled out ones so far are frantic job searching, video games, and Reddit… but I’m gonna add volunteer work, watching YouTube with associated goobing about her being a creator, and geocaching.)
The devs have this “gretchen_affection” meter in the back end that they’ve never used, so I decided to mod in a check after a gentler rejection of the diner invite!
She won’t say this if you didn’t do anything like pet her or chat with her or ask Stella to tell you everything about her.

I'm modding a game to add dietary restrictions for the main character, and I added diabetes as an option. What should I be sure to include? I'm not starting from zero, but most of what I know comes from reading children's books, mainly Sal & Gabi Break the Universe and Babysitters Club.
The PC has traveled to a small town to stay with their cousin for a week, and she bought them a bunch of PB&J fixings and expects them to be able to get by with just this. In Ep1 of the game, you can make a PB&J sandwich (or jelly with a peanut allergy), and I'm adding variations for if they've got other restrictions. The ingredients she stocked up on are almost certainly all commercial mass-marketed stuff and I'm working in attempts to find alternatives. At this point, the PC has been on a 26 hour bus ride and is absolutely famished, so I would assume their blood sugar is at risk of crashing pretty badly but at the same time, a sandwich made from these ingredients would be a Problem.
The game progresses to the PC walking to town, where they can choose to go to a diner with someone they meet there or explore and possibly go into the general store. The diner only really has an available sprite for a biscuit (Southern USA), and the regular plot has the characters encouraging the PC to try it. It's super buttery and "the perfect biscuit," described as divinely perfect if you've got Mystical abilities. The general store is a very small and described as fairly pathetic if you have "Keen Eye," so I would imagine it's not stocked very well, but the person running it is vegan so she might have made more of an attempt to stock things for dietary needs than normal.
Might have dug myself in a little deep here since I know it's no small thing to add in monitoring blood sugar, insulin shots, blurring effects if they don't get adequate food / their shot, etc. But if I do this I wanna do this right!!
What should I be sure to include? What are some of the usual pitfalls when people fail at writing it right?
And would it make sense for a PC who hasn't eaten enough on a long bus ride to have a spoonful of knockoff Jif pb to help a bit with low blood sugar?

I don’t have additional sprites for her and she’s not exactly popular, so unless someone is extremely invested and interested in helping, it probably won’t go anywhere? But I started it after people had fun with the April fools version.
