The Forbidden Wing

Feel like I’m not quite nailing this section but idk. Thoughts?

I might have posted the kiss before but idk. New detail is I’ve gone in and updated the sprites for the end sequence and made oldified variants!

There’s a lot of different versions of this scene depending on if you pass various checks. The strike factors into it since she’s got more on her plate if it’s strong!

I’m saving updates on the mod until I’ve got some things debugged and tweaked a bit, so here’s just one of my all-time favorite rare lines.

This is if she had no idea Stella was missing until the last minute. And this is why I am not big on the Stellamance!

Since the mod lets you pick any number of traits, I’ve got occasional All Traits stuff in there.

This is the Keen Eye option exclusive to cousins who’ve been pretty harsh in dialog choices. There’s a relationship check that selects the vibe of your shop as ‘brutal’ if you’ve been brutally honest so far. And the Keen Eye variant is more tailored to that trait.

Hot lets you pick between love-themed readings and regular ones!

Finished for the day and realized that I still need to fix the font on pansexual to be more readable, plus make an ambiguously gay romantic one. But here’s where I’m at!

Now you can be a No Traits wet cat, or do a run where you’re Hot but have absolutely nothing else going for you, or whatever you like.

I only had to mess with one scene to make No Traits work, to make sure you have access to the main plot and don’t get stuck.

I just realized I can make some no mouth sprites for her, add a dialog menu, and jump people back the end of the mystic save or somethin’…

So, what would you say if you could say anything after her little rant about taking more than you were giving and trying to “force a happy ending onto a story about consequences”?

Why do you enjoy messing with canon?

How do y’all feel about the tinted backgrounds, and which do you think works best with them?

(Ignore the adult buttons being to the right slightly, fixing it as we speak.)

The Hot Adjustment screen here only shows if you’re both hot and you selected something on the aroace spectrum.

Still playing around and editing, trying to figure out backgrounds for hardcore and regular that don’t clash with the pride buttons, and still thinking of editing some buttons. (Struggling there because the color doesn’t fit the usual scheme but desaturated just looked bad, idk man…)

Will take all the feedback I can get! Esp if you have any idea what background would work with the trans buttons - gotta have one that’s not from a chapter climax to fit the non-hardcore pattern.

Might be done with these tomorrow? Idk.

Flirts and romance one is on its hardcore variant screen. Do you guys think it needs swapping out?

And I’ve gotta remake the bottom right button to make the hover text more clear about that only affecting Hot — it changes the flavor of the narration so you’re icked out by everyone flirting with you. While I’m doing it, is the background jarring contrasted against the others?

If you want to play around and put in other characters, it really just has to be someone whose elbows aren't sticking out too far and you've gotta edit their file to be the same shape and size. Same goes for the background, and you can put any music in!

I made a small labyrinth of screens with flirt adjustments, sexuality, expanded gender identity, etc.

You can smack the “go to game” button at any time to skip past all that, or you can do a bunnnnch of customization.

Have to finish the images before I can open the game without breaking it, now! lol rip

How are these working? This batch are giving me the most trouble. Desaturated pride colors are a lil weird to work with.
