FYI - Revature is hiring 2 new trainers (based in Plano TX or Teaneck NJ)

(Full disclosure, I’m a trainer at Revature. I think former associates are inherently advantaged when it comes to being trainers, and I’d like to work with people who can relate to associates on that level. )

Pretty much what the title says. 1 opening for Plano, 1 opening for Teaneck. You’d be running in-person cohorts in your locality, plus the occasional out-of-town cohort, or remote cohort from home. They won’t ask you to travel out of state much, apparently just once a year. They’re looking for Java Full Stack trainers with some prior experience in AWS, DevOps, and AI, but you can definitely expect to upskill to meet various client demands over time. People with prior training/teaching experience will be preferred.

Revature is in a pretty good place right now, and I wouldn’t be drawing attention to the listings if I thought otherwise (I’ve been here for over 5 years, so I know how bad it can be lol). I think associates are finally treated fairly well and client compensation is /ok/. It’s been a really turbulent past few years but things have started to stabilize as the industry stabilizes. Overall I love my job and I care about Rev continuing to hire great trainers. It’s one of the positive constants that kept us afloat amid the tech recession imo.

Anyway I’m rambling now, but you can find the “Technical Trainer” postings on LinkedIn. They’re pretty fresh still. I’m happy to answer any questions y’all have to the best of my ability. But I won’t know too much about onboarding logistics (hiring timelines, exact locations, etc.)
