For me, it’s things like bad breath or people who are frequently coughing.

I know it sounds really superficial, and I honestly feel a bit guilty about it because it has nothing to do with who they are as a person.

But for some reason, I have a very strong physical reaction to it. I immediately feel uncomfortable, tense, and almost instinctively want to distance myself.

Even if someone is incredibly kind, funny, and interesting, with tons of great qualities, if they regularly have bad breath or keep coughing, I just can’t seem to relax enough around them to form a friendship.

I’m wondering if anyone else has something similarly superficial or irrational that causes an instant “nope” reaction for them.

People of Geneva, am I the only one who finds the location of QUAI 9 (Association Première Ligne), right next to Cornavin, really concerning?

I completely understand the importance of providing support and healthcare to people struggling with drug addiction, but what I struggle to understand is why this facility is located so visibly in one of the busiest areas of the city RIGHT next to Cornavin and not a few blocks away.

I genuinely find it so unsettling to see parents walking with young children past people openly injecting themselves with syringes.
All my alarms TURN ON… this can’t be safe honestly.

I’ve actually started avoiding that route because seeing those scenes is emotionally/energetically draining.

Am I becoming a Karen, or do you feel the same way?
