I met with a surgeon willing to do top surgery. She said she's done a few... I was pleasantly surprised given the illegality of it in my home country and the expenses I'd need to incur to go to Europe or Asia for the procedure.
I have done some due diligence but my heart still feels a little hesitant. I've saved very strictly for almost a year to cover my expenses. I budgeted a nurse and an assistant nurse for the first 5 days to aid in my day to day. This was offered by the surgeon herself. The package seems complete.
The surgeon herself seems to have a very solid online presence. I haven't visited her in person. I think I'll be getting the procedure in July/August.
Her name is Dr Mukami Gathraki. If there's anyone who has done the procedure with her, you could tell me your experience with her. I didn't ask her directly as people are stealth for security reasons. I wouldn't want her using my results either.
I am also a little hesitant because this will be a big thing for me... I think I can stay in Kenya for 2 weeks. I don't know if I should stay longer.
Please provide me with any tips if you've gone to a foreign country for top surgery.
