Growing up, I never had the opportunity to have a book of my own. I didn't even read books when I was younger. Nung highschool ako, I borrowed my friend's Catching Fire and that sparked my love for books 🥹 Pero wala akong pera noon. I only had 50 pesos na baon everyday. Kaya lagi lang ako nanghihiram (shoutout talaga kina K and to my cousin, gone to soon, na kahit bagong bili eh sakin una pinapagamit).

Kahit ngayong may work na ako at may pera.. hindi ko parin talaga majustify ang pagbili ng books (went to fullybooked and grabe kamahal 😭). Then nalaman ko na ang Collins ay may mga cheap books. So happy with this! Can't wait to read this one 🥰

After my 10-year slump (The Book Thief was the last book I had read), I picked up The Housemaid and kinda liked it tho itthere wasn't a wow factor. Then decided to go back to reading full-time again. Got curious sa Strange Houses, it was the worst book that I've ever read (mas maganda pa wattpad stories). First book na natapos ko sa x4 ay A Thousand Pieces of You and I'm now on the 2nd book! Now, there's so many on my TBR list 😁 Can't wait to read the thriller ones!

What made reading so good with this is di na sumasakit ang mata ko and it stopped me from doomscrolling. Buti nalang nakabili agad bago maphase out.
