CBC Front Burner Episode

CBC Front Burner Episode

Anyone else really bothered by the Front Burner coverage today? They kept on talking about the project as if the benefits had not yet been studied.

Multiple times they stated that its unresolved whether the project makes sense for demand on the corridor. One of the reporters even stated that vehicle electrification could be a mitigating factor in this project making economic sense.

I was kind of shocked at how uninformed the coverage felt. Did they even read any of the information in the numerous studies that had already been produced… since the 70s. Studies they even referenced existing earlier in the segment 😒

Quebecor A class shares bid ask split

I learned the hard way I needed to be more careful buying shares today, did a market buy for quebecor class A shares today and then immediately saw the 8-10% loss instantly after the transaction completed, luckily only lost like 20$ but still ouch. There is currently a 10 dollar price difference on the stock between the bid and ask price, I don’t know if Ive ever seen a split that big before. Are they common?
