A Perfect spy, question

A Perfect spy, question

Finished a perfect spy today. Really enjoyed the style and all the different perspectives and Pym’s linking autobiographical style. Found it really interesting how not only was it an autobiographical piece for pym but also largely for Carre.

Was just wondering I read Andrew Osmonds review

https://literaryreview.co.uk/the-silent-unlit-country

And he suggests that Pym was not necessarily a traitor.

“At least he thinks he has. At the end we are left wondering, as the plot takes a final twist.”

Was wondering whether somebody to could point me to that “final twist” as I never picked up on one and it’s unusual for me to miss a big twist. Thanks, first time posting so I hope I used the spoiler button etc properly.
